For most of this, sorry, I dont speak Cockney.
They got Al Capone by any means, despite the law being difficult to apply to him.
I already posted that you change laws for a massive crime, not for one political enemy.
This win against Trump doesn’t qualify as redefining the law. It’s a one-off, with a few appeals to go.

Your racial slur or poor attempt at levity is aimed at the wrong end of the island I'm afraid.

Trump was not in court down to his politics through now, was he, and nether was Al Capone.

I'm sure time will tell on that score.
Then again how many indictments are still to come or has he yet to answer for?
Coz its more than one at last count and they are not of the civil sorts nether far as im led to believe.

So why have the statute of limitations superseded for the likes of murder but not rape, or other serious crimes?
Just doesn't make much sense to me.
Ruh-roh …. I’m a racist.
I’m a racist. I looked up the word to make sure I wasn’t using it terribly wrong, and it said working-middle class London.
You and my other buddy, can’t help yourself with the racist / Nazi / etc. Still waiting for the KKK to pop up.

Should there be a statute of limitations on sexual assault or rape cases, criminal or civil, given the severity of the crime and transgression?
I mean there is no statute of limitations where the likes of murder is concerned.
Rape/sexual assault crimes are of the same to similar caliber.
By my guess, some crimes and acts of depravity don't have a sell-by date, or should not have.

Serious crimes, such as murder, don't have a statute of limitations. You can be charged with murder 50 years after the fact, if new technology brings up new evidence that can be used in court.
Rape had, and still has, a much shorter statute of limitations, but many states are now extending that and opening it up for past crimes. Carroll filed under the New York State Adult Survivors Act passed recently that extends that window and allows the victims to come forward for past crimes.

Wean is a Scottish word pertaining to children, not English or Cockney dialect, Goggle should have told you that.
And once again you said "racist" stevieray i just pointed out the inaccuracy of the racial slur intended.
Anyhoo back on topic, Trump is guilty, and that is now a fact and matter of court record.
You said I used a racial slur. I joked that I was racist as a result. You now say they’re not related at all.
Bless your heart.
Good argument old chap. Hope that’s not a bad word somewhere in the UK.

Deflection, pointless deflection. That is not the issue. This sort of "I guess you think all women can't sue because..." fake outrage is childish and utter nonsense.
There is no statute of limitations on Rape in NY for a CRIMINAL case. She should bring it, she didn't. Why, it didn't happen and Reid Hoffman et al could NOT control a criminal case, a civil case they could and did. They simply wanted a headline, to conflate this farce with real world is beyond obscene.
This issue was for civil for a reason. She brought a preposterous case based on "memory" and nothing else, she didn't even know the year. It was a set up not seeing that because TDS is pretty sick.
Conflating this with "real victims" behind fake outrage over blah blah blah is the worst kind of ignorance.
"The Jury of his peers" yes, trump haters, found he was NOT LIABLE for damages related to RAPE, NOT, but for saying he didn't rape her publicly. For the love of god, read the verdict. He was more or less found liable for mean tweets.
So, to your point if you followed logic. If she was in fact raped, she wasn't, she can bring a criminal case using something more than memory for her entire life. If the accused his found guilty using something more than memory, she can then sue for civil damages. She didn't do that for a reason.
Please, be familiar with Civil, Criminal, Damages, Jury, Legal Proceedings, Defamation, Appeals Court, and the law before spouting bizarre talking points so rooted in ignorance they defy even the most basic logic related to our dying system. God help you from every being caught in this net, or maybe it might change your POV if you were.
Bottom line. It isn't a win for the TDS folks, and will be memory holed next week because the word "Rape" wasn't included in the judgment and the case will be thrown out on appeal and she's gone by fall. It failed.

No doubt about what you did stevieray, nor the fact that you got the geography wrong.
Bless your heart.
Danke.

Could be perceived as rather agist i suppose.
But again wrong end of the island patter wise.
So once again back on topic.
Your man Trumps is still guilty all the same and found to be so in a court of law.
And harbors some rather sadistic opinionated views where stars and women are concerned.

" the allegation were true? "
Making Value Judgements does Not Prove Anything . Read my Previous Posts , this Woman is Mentally Unstable and Made this ENTIRE Story Up . The Fact that a New Yawk Civil Court awarded " Damages " Anyway is a Complete Joke . Trump Will Win on an Appeal , and this Women's 15 Minutes of Fame Will be Up . Oh , and How is that Stormy Daniels Case doing Lately ? ...Hmm.
Damn, still racist now agist. You have no worries about saying this stuff where fellow adults can read it and wonder why ?
That’s fine, you’re OK in my book.

Does Donald have to register as a sex offender now? Will he have to go door to door informing his neighbors of his predicament?
More importantly! Can he still hug babies while on the Campaign Trail!?
