A foreign agent is someone working in this country to directly further the interests of a foreign entity.

A person doing business with a foreign entity to increase their bank account is not a foreign agent.

Not a derailment. An example. Trump is a businessman with interests all over the world. Do you think he should register as a foreign agent simply because he's doing business in other countries?

The correct answer is no. Because he is not doing business with those other countries to further their interests in America. He is doing business with those countries to further his own interests.

And as it stands right now you have no evidence the Bidens were doing anything different.

A foreign principal, by legal definition, financed the sitting potus family.
The family members did not register as agents, as legally required.
A clear violation of the FARA law.

No they don't.

All they show is that the Bidens received money from foreign entities. There's no indication in those bank records what those payments were for.

If they were for legitimate services rendered then there's no issue.

If they were to be used to improve the interests of a foreign principle then they would have to register as foreign agents.
