I applaud your efforts to educate the Trumpsters on this site, but believe me it's impossible to make them give up their delusion that Trump really won the last election and that he was the bestest President ever, bigly, really, honest. The ones that have fallen deepest down the rabbit hole actually think that he won in a landslide because: insert random lunacy here.
The selling of The Big Lie (I would like to recommend Jonathan Lemire's book of that name, which is good but depressing) that Trump 'had the election stolen from him' is what keeps to many members of this once-great website frantically ranting on their keyboards. Yes, it's sad. Yes, it detracts from other, better stories out there. And yes, if their tiny-handed orange god does get the nomination (despite the huge number of legal chickens coming home to roost right now, including a rape-related trial that he seems to be losing badly) they will vote for him and insist - against all the evidence - that a) he'd be a great president and that b) he won again, no matter what the actual result.
It's sad.
But kudos to you for trying to educate the willingly blind.

The leader of the Proud Boys, along with three other extremist group members, were found guilty of sedition. These sedition convictions follow the sedition convictions of the Oath Keepers earlier this year.

Tarrio was a top target of what has become the largest Justice Department investigation in American history. He led the neo-fascist group — known for street fights with left-wing activists — when Trump infamously told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by” during his first debate with Biden.

Tarrio wasn’t in Washington on Jan. 6, because he had been arrested two days earlier in a separate case and ordered out of the capital city. But prosecutors said he organized and directed the attack by Proud Boys who stormed the Capitol that day.

In addition to Tarrio, a Miami resident, three other Proud Boys were convicted of seditious conspiracy: Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs and Zachary Rehl.

Sentencing will follow, but the prison sentence could range up to 20 years.

There are plenty of left wing nuts that get put behind bars , you just don’t hear about it as much .
All these extreme groups need to be broken down.

I don't think that private, U.S. paramilitary groups should be broken down by the Feds, unless a militia commits organized criminal behavior; because that would violate the Second Amendment.

But eventually...the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers, will possibly cease to exist as an organization, once the District of Columbia starts a civil trial and try to sue those bastard organizations, out of existence.
eExtreme groups of all types are not good for society & are evidence of bad leaders/society norms .

If the U.S. Feds were to ban every so-called extremist groups...it would also be a violation of there First Amendment Rights.

No, I want them to stop wailing out massive untruths that are not (obviously) true. The Big Lie is not a fact. It is a fantasy, a lie, something that Dominion Voting Systems took Fox News to court over and destroyed them over. Facts are vitally important in this world. Lies are destructive, corrosive things.
I am for facts. What are you for?

Your culprit is the FBI.

To the tune of 30+ CHS and agents.

Okay...but I still wouldn't blame the FBI for being culprits of the Jan.6th insurrection.

"Media missed how Proud Boys worked with FBI to bring down left wing operations
FBI was actively working with numerous members of the far-right group, including its former leader, to specifically target those on the left, according to a report from Iacobin "

The problem with all extreme groups is the fact that they want to fundamentally change America into their small demographic’s ideals .
Proud Boys & BLM are the same , radical sectarian ideas pushed via violence.

Read the sources and you'll find out.

Reuters funny enough sells most of their content to Fox..

Pew research is a non partisan source. And Wikipedia has no bias, it's an open source archive that has sources at the bottom of the page for you to go through. None of those sources are propoganda.

where were the 100K + mail in votes that appeared in the middle of the night counted?
how many boxes were they from?
what time were they counted?
Who was collating?
Were they being run though a machine?
Was someone separating them into piles of Biden votes and Trump votes? If so, why?
Why were they be kept separate from the main count?
When did those 100k votes actually come in?
Were they signature checked?
Who loaded them all in en masse in the early hours? How was this done?

This is called information bullying / terrorism. And I'm not dealing with it, other people have done the work for you and I gave you ample information for you to go through.

For example the 100k figure you keep pulling up, it was alot more than 100k votes. And it was both biden and Trump who got last minute votes. The tallied numbers you probably witnessed - funny enough probably on some legacy media outlet - aren't the final realized number. Counting goes on for days or weeks after election day, that's why there's a huge gap between when voting for electoral college, to electors voting for president and vice, to inauguration. Because things can change between voting day and when the electoral college meet. And guess what, they didn't change!

Well I have to say that is a new one.

'Information bullying'

Demanding detail instead of lazily hiding behind 'fact' checkers is information bullying

Sometimes it's hard to believe this is ATS.

No, I'm going to pull you up on that. Every time details about the myth that the 2020 election was 'stolen' is brought up the Worshippers of Trump (WOT) either claim that it's all a lie or they lie themselves about the facts.
And factcheckers that say that the Big Lie is, well, a Big Lie, also get attacked, dismissed and lied about.
So: Dominion Voting Systems vs Fox News. The former won. The latter lost. They lost very, very badly, to the tune of more than three-quarters of a billion dollars, plus they fired their bow-tied purveyor of lies (and he knew he was lying).
You're not 'demanding detail' you're demanding that facts get ignored.

You want me to just copy and paste everything in those sources?

I asked you for sources to back up your claims, and you can't even do that. Just like Fox News and my pillow man couldn't do in court and lost.

I even answered probably a few of your points and you seemingly just ignored that part.

The DVS v Faux News trial - the discovery part of it at least, before Faux caved in like a paper tiger before a hurricane of facts - was immensely satisfying to read about. They repeated Trump's lies, they knew that they were lies, but they also knew that they were lies that their viewers believed in because they were devout in their worship of their tiny-handed orange-faced god.
I think that the MyPillow twit is going back into court again. After what happened with Dominion I would not bet money on the man winning anything whatsoever. It's not that amusing, the man obviously needs help.

Unfortunately tribalism is taking hold in the US. And it's slowly eroding away not just the society, but its not creeping into the lack of faith in probably the best criminal justice systems ever thought up by humans.

I asked you to post it as this is the first I heard of it. You said they went there with a gallows, twice now... So I answered you which you have little substance to reply.

I asked you this question too...

If this was all an insurrection why in a country with 400 million guns did they not use them? If you are going to gather up people to be hanged how do you do that armed with a cell phone?

www.nytimes.com...

The point you're trying to make about the guns is a moot point, pretty much all people at the riot were conservative trump supporters, which in my experience talking to them all think the government - except trump - is trying to take their gun rights. So why would they all show up armed to the teeth?

They were there to clearly send a message with dozens of agitators there to take advantage of the situation and if things went as far as they wanted, they'd go all the way. Hence the conviction of the proud boys, and probably more to come.

So why didn't they use those weapons?

Because it was not an insurrection. It was a protest.

The police lost the perimeter and pulled back and Congress was evacuated, so there was no-one to use those weapons on, apart from some police officers who got beaten and sprayed on. Do you really think that they wouldn't have used those weapons if they'd found Pence or Pelosi or Romney? They were protesting - and trying to stop Biden being certified as President. That's sedition. It was an insurrection, pure and simple, they were trying to overturn the election. Members of that crowd are still being sentenced to prison for what they did.

but what if.....

I swear you folks tickle the sh!t out of me. You whatabout your way through all this, and never once ask the simple question, "why weren't there more cops available for crowd control?"

Everyone knew the crowd would be huge. Everyone knew the crowd would be angry. Hell, the FBI had informants in most groups, either agitating or planning. And you don't care about Ray Epps. The most visible, loudest, and longest influencer in the entire event.

you have a wet dream about getting Trump BAMN and you keep failing. That has to hit the fragile ego pretty hard.

You would have so much more respect if you just admitted the truth and drop the charade that you care anything at all about Mike Pence.

Tarrio has always been an asset/CI. He’ll serve ~2-3 years incl. time served to bolster street cred and get dumped back out to be an idiot some more.

This has always been true and obvious (and a short prison stint is a standard method of bolstering an asset or undercover’s credibility even for large local/ and state agencies.
