You really want to let government schools teach our children about sex? the science yes but everything else is up to the parents. I didn't know any persecuted gay people 30-40years ago. I think young people have a deluded sense of what was accepted by people in past decades as if my generation was racist and homophobic while we went to earth wind and fire and Bowie concerts or laughed at Monty Python in drag. The KKK died around the same time the Berlin Wall fell. Come to think if it society was less segregated back then. Nobody judged you for how you voted or what party you belonged to. We aren't improving in many ways, society is becoming increasingly divided along every possible fracture point.
