As an American , I could Never Drink the Swill my Country Produces as " Beer " . The Europeans Are the Kings of Beer , there is No Debate there . Grosch , Becks , Peroni , St. Paulie Girl , The " Original " Heineken Formula , along with Numerous other European Brands are Miles about Any Brew Produced in the U.S. . AB should be Happy they Even have a Customer Base Anymore.......

That may have been the case 15-20 years ago, but America is now the king of beer.

Thanks to Europe's obsession with tradition when it comes to beer production, America has been able to outpace them in innovation.

There's also some fun scenes emerging in places like Japan and Norway. But those were pretty much triggered by American expats.

Seems a bit petty tbh. However, possibly it was simply good will for the people of Europe......Miller is, after all, frankly disgusting

Budweiser is just mass-produced tat, supported by a marketing department that hates women.

Proper beer, brewed by smaller and local brewers, is just so much better.

When I travelled around the USA, I discovered quite a few really nice beers. Same in some places in Europe. But nothing beats a good English real ale, on the bitter side.

As someone that worked in the industry for years as a head brewer and won multiple awards, I think I've got a pretty good grasp on the state of the brewing world.

Not only is the US the leader in beer innovation, but they're starting to improve the styles popularized in Europe. Allagash has been making Belgian-style beers that can rival anything from Belgium for years. And my favorite local brewery produces better German-style beers than anything I had in Germany. Hands down the best Hefeweizen I've ever had.

If all you've had of American beer are the macrobreweries, then yes, Europe washes us. But try out your local breweries I guarantee you you'll find something that at least competes with the best beer you've had from Europe.

I never did drink Bud Light. I had a brief Budweiser period in high school. I don't like Coors either.

If I had to pick one of the common beers, I would drink something from Modelo or Guinness,

Modelo is AB Inbev tranny beer.

Oh no. I'm so triggered to learn that. I better buy a few cases to shoot up for a twitter video.

All I'm saying is that you're sending money to a big European corporation when I guarantee there's treasure in your own back yard.

You don't even need to tell me what state you're in, just give me a general geographical area and I'm more than willing to direct you to some great craft breweries I'm sure you can find in your grocery store.

It appears that the Belgians may have fired a return shot. Earlier this week Belgian customs crushed nearly 1,000 cases of Miller High Life. The reasoning being that High Life's slogan, "The Champagne of Beer," was false advertising.

Champagne tastes even worse than your average light beer but okay sure 🤷‍♂️

I'm always on mobile so I don't see the profile bar.

North Jersey or South Jersey?

Either way I'm sure you can find Yards near you.

These honestly crack me up!!

Kinda makes me wonder how people of today would have handled SNL and movies from the 80's, like Blazing Saddles.
