That may have been the case 15-20 years ago, but America is now the king of beer.
Thanks to Europe's obsession with tradition when it comes to beer production, America has been able to outpace them in innovation.
There's also some fun scenes emerging in places like Japan and Norway. But those were pretty much triggered by American expats.

It appears that the Belgians may have fired a return shot. Earlier this week Belgian customs crushed nearly 1,000 cases of Miller High Life. The reasoning being that High Life's slogan, "The Champagne of Beer," was false advertising.
