America and the West has no surge capacity. Ukraine will inevitably run out of ammo by spring...

Unless of course they buy some from Russia. They apparently have enough resources and production capabilities to sustain this war for a decade...

Ukraine really needs to come to terms with it's inevitable defeat. Zelenskyy rather...

Both are struggling, they will both be out of significant artillery ammo in the not to distant future, thats why both are looking hard at moldova. (good on moldova to wire the ammo dump to go boom if anyone tries to take it)

I wonder if the russian cheerleaders here will still cheer when russia is practicing genocide in HD, cause it will happen.

The ammo dump is occupied by a few thousand Russian troops. But Ukraine, Moldova and Romania control the airspace. So it's just been sitting there since Russia can't reach it.

I meant how many artillery shells each country produces. Or how many of each type of shell, rocket etc., that would be interesting to know. Or even how many each corporation produces.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with this, but it's based on the official announcements. Some of it is unannounced or only announced as a package of aid worth a certain sum of money without going into detail.

Did you look at the wiki link its very detailed for most countries, as far as looking at what a country can produce or munitions it does produce suffice it to say Europe can probably do lots more. They will need to.

en.wikipedia.org...

Here's a list from 2018 single sources of a list of country by the level of military equipment

Basically, subtract one link from the other, and then check each individual country's military imports since 2018 or better what did the US export militarily since 2018 per country

I wish we had a better idea of how much each country produces at the moment. Serbia is rumored to be selling rockets to Ukraine. But either way this is good, they're showing long-term commitment.

Right it’s a rumor.

There is zero indication that Serbia is participating/support either side.

The rumor is Serbia sold it to Canada. (Which is weird, for what?) was transported from Serbia to Turkey, from there to Slovakia, and from Slovakia to Ukraine.

Serbian-made rockets to Grad were found at the AFU.Canada bought them, transported them from Serbia to Turkey, from there to Slovakia, and from Slovakia to Ukraine. Such a long detour is needed, obviously, so that Belgrade does not find out in time and does not block the deal

Either way, it’s not like we’re expecting Serbia to jump to arms helping NATO here.

It’s being pressured from the E.U and NATO. But doesn’t want to get involved in Ukraine. Why should it?

Sad, how flipped over things are today.

You see (some Ukrainians) cheering/supporting Muslim extremists terrorists in Kosovo (who are 100% known to be linked to Al qaeda) on social media about Serbs being kicked out of Kosovo from their own land. Which has been part of Serbia for centuries.

Yet those Ukrainians are going around blaming Russia stirring the pot there lol

there's a simple answer: none of your goddamn business.

other countries have no obligation to help Ukraine. it's their own mess, either they can sort it out, or they lost already and that's their own fault.

one can blame the western influence all day, and to a large degree it's the west that created this conflict in the first place, but Ukrainian politicians were involved all the way. corrupt politicians.

and either you can keep your politicians in check, or you deal with the consequences.

the west should keep that in mind, especially USA.

Well Serbia has condemned Russia's attack on Ukraine. And recently Russia has been pressuring them for information on their exports. Maybe Russia knows something we don't? That's why I said I'd love to know, to get to the bottom of this, among other things.

I don't understand why this makes you antsy. It's like you guys are scared of getting real answers. How do you expect me to keep my politicians in check anyway if I'm not allowed to ask questions? I'm not Russian.

That's great. Again I was talking about production, but it's definitely on topic for the thread in general.

Britain used to manufacture everything in Britain. Now it's all outsourced like everything else TPTB want us to consume. Bae Systems just assemble the ammo here. We rely on South Africa (friend of Russia) and the Czechs for our casings. Total nonsense from this nation Great Britain which when my mother was young and who is still alive controlled the largest Empire in modern times and now in her same lifetime can't knock up a bit of brass

Serbia also condemned Ukraine and NATO.

I think we all know that NATO wants to squeeze Serbia out of Kosovo by now.

You’ll be hard pressed to find Serbia wanting to get involved/support NATO and Ukraine here with pom poms

Oh, you mean what military arms and munitions each country produces internally?

This an excellent link for the source of each country's small arms, pretty sure there is a tab where you find sources of thier more sophisticated stuff like tanks, fighters, artillery

www.militaryfactory.com...

FWIW this even goes into further depth here's France"s synopsis

www.cia.gov...

France
the French military's inventory consists mostly of domestically produced weapons systems, including some jointly produced with other European countries; there is a limited mix of armaments from other Western countries, particularly the US; France has a defense industry capable of manufacturing the full spectrum of air, land, and naval military weapons systems (2022)

note: as of 2022, two major future acquisition programs for the French military included the Franco-German-Spanish Future Combat Air System, or FCAS (known in France as the système combat aérien du futur, or SCAF) and a next-generation tank development project with Germany known as the Main Ground Combat System, or MGCS

no. when someone asks about internal weapon/ammo manufacturing, with the intention of following up with "well, you seem to have enough to help Ukraine", my answer is GTFO.

you're asking wrong questions.

the correct one would be "why should anyone send weapons and ammo to Ukraine?".

check the charts posted in this thread.

check how much of the aid is humanitarian aid.

how does it make ANY F..KING SENSE? unless, of course, you want this war to continue, with some delusional ideas worthy of Zelensky, like ukrainian tanks in Moscow.

it won't happen. Ukraine is done for. it was 10 years ago.

Obviously I disagree, but this isn't even just about Ukraine. We need to start thinking about weapons industry in new ways or China will have a huge advantage compared to the UK or EU just because they're centralized and think ahead, don't just think in terms of how arms manufacturers can maximize their profit over a few quarters by outsourcing to potentially hostile states. And I can't do that without looking into the industry.

What are saying about the charts though? That humanitarian aid is too small compared to lethal aid, that doesn't make sense to you?

Maybe because Ukraine is defending itself from a Russian Invasion?
