There’s a point in OP though.

The vaccines are worthless for most people, so I just view it as a waste of money and resources at best, or a huge grift (most likely scenario). They’re simply not effective.

But the hyperbole of people trying to point out the silliness of the vax makes it hard for there to be real critical.

Any thread about someone dying, it’s guaranteed someone on the first page will blame it on the vax in a matter of fact fashion without even looking up if there’s evidence they had it.

So when there are people out there trying to navigate the idea of the vax, they encounter people claiming its going to kill everyone who has it, and I’ve seen threads about topics the OP mentioned. So it’s not a straw man, it’s relevant.

I’ve seen the threads proclaiming fantastical things with nothing but a YouTube video or tweet to corroborate their claims.

But alas, now all of a sudden logical fallacy is important, just not in the other threads 😏

Respectfully see the numbers below, these are the demographics of persons per 100,000 that needed to be hospitalized for COVID.

At its peak unless you were at the age of 70 or above the risk of hospitalization was pretty small for example at it's for the age group 59 and under about 30 persons in 100,000 needed to be hospitalized and that was just at its 2 peaks, it was significantly less most of the time. Ages 60 plus accounted for almost 50% of the hospitalizations, what danger there was, it was limited to about 17-18% of the American population those 60 and above




For perspective here are 10,000 persons now pick the 6 that need to be hospitalized for COVID, and now tell the other 9984 people you need to shut down your businesses, mandate vaccinations for everybody, and you need to get boosters every 6 months.

SARS cov 2 is not ‘real’. And Covid is just the name given to the flu like symptoms that go along with the common flu.

When the vaccines were rolled out, real, actual scientists said (repeatedly) that the mRNA vaccines were experimental, possibly dangerous, and we will not know their effects till 5-7, or even 10 years down the road.

But those guys were demonized and thrown over for the likes of Faucci, Bill Gates and the talking heads on the six o'clock news.

So, after two or three years you've come to the conclusion that the covid vaccines are totally safe and effective?

How long did it take to realize that lead based paint was a problem? Or lead water pipes? Or asbestos? Or Agent Orange or DDT? Or coc aine, heroin, or a few thousand other drugs that we were told were safe and effective?

As a rule, I tend not to trust those who consistently lie to me. Topping the list are the Government, the Media, and the pharmaceutical industry. But you do you. Yeah, but Covid was the worstest most dangerouses virus to ever exist! Lockdowns, two weeks to flatten the curve, social distancing, double masking, gallons of hand sanitizer - enough to create a global panic and immobilize the economies of every country on the planet! So bad that more than half of the population fell for it.

Until it wasn't so bad. And the vaccines didn't work. And the boosters didn't work. And everyone caught it anyway.

"One of the lucky people". There have been literally BILLIONS of cases of Covid that people have survived. In fact, it makes up the vast majority of case outcomes by a large margin.

Btw are you suggesting a toddler shares the same risk of death as an elderly obese person?

I can say that this with impunity: there have been far more "sudden adult death syndrome" victims and healthy young men dying of myocarditis than in 2019. And Covid itself isn't to blame regardless of how the corporate media will try to spin it. The vaccine is the only other consistent factor.
