Why doesn't Gateway Pundit report that 8 of 10 counts were dismissed. Odd thing to omit.

Two remaining:

"alleged intentional interference by election officials affecting Maricopa County ballot printers and chain of custody violations."

All the headlines I read are along the lines of:

www.fox10phoenix.com...

That's some spin right there. I'm thinking Gateway is giving people too much hope here. Hope to piss people off later if she loses.

Judge made it cut and dry.

thehill.com...

Plaintiff must show at trial that the [Election Day] printer malfunctions were intentional, and directed to affect the results of the election, and that such actions did actually affect the outcome,” the judge said of the first remaining count in Monday’s order.

For the other remaining count, Lake claims that more than 300,000 Maricopa County ballots did not have proper chain of custody paperwork.

The State's counter argument on charge 2:

The county disputes that claim, arguing that Lake does not understand the various forms of paperwork and indicating Maricopa has all necessary documentation on file.

So that's it. Prove the chain of custody violations. And prove malfunctioning printers were a vast conspiracy to disenfranchise in-person voters with other options still available.

A lot not being said by (Gateway) pundits to whip people up and get them marching with torches. Not that indirectly seditious sensationalist journalism is capable of much else.

Her case is one of those "extraordinary proof" ones. But if she can win at trial this quote will no longer be the occam's razor of the average person polled.

If there’s anything rotten in Arizona, it is what this contest represents,” an attorney for Hobbs said at the hearing. “For the past several years, our democracy and its basic guiding principles have been under sustained assault from candidates who just cannot or will not accept the fact that they lost. The judiciary has served as a bulwark against these efforts to undo our democratic system from within.

Gotta reverse that statement.

I think this is the first time evidence was allowed to be presented in court involving election issues, either way it is decided I am happy.

will you accept the result if its proven Hobss was either completely incompetent at her job, or corrupt at her job?

It effects me as well.

What I don’t understand is how Katie Hobbs maintained her role as Sec. of State while running for Gov. at the same time. Especially when she controls/oversees the Election.

Allowed? what are you referring too? the 2020 Presidential election? Everybody here knows your most sycophant's threads claimed 4D chess by NOT providing evidence in order to get the case marked up to the higher courts... Of course now, she does claim that the courts never looked at any evidence...

I didn't read through every single reply, but, just had to say something.

To all you who LOVE to label right-wingers as "Q and MAGA" - I guess you have no idea just how dumb you sound? Only idiots follow Q, and what in the heck is "MAGA," anyways? Are you talking about the common political slogan used in multiple elections over the years?

I just don't get it... why do you have a problem with your country being "Great"? What do you want it to be, exactly... "Mediocre"? "Adequate"? "A Door Mat"? Our country is supposed to be great because of the Constitutional FREEDOMS we once had - that all ended once the govt started weaponizing its alphabet agencies against 1 political side.

I also don't understand - if you are SO CONFIDENT these elections had no tomfoolery, then why resist the inquiry so hard? I guess all you left-wingers can't live without govt handouts, so you go into full denial mode, because you don't mind that your rights are being eroded into nothingness - in fact, you love it because it APPEARS that the censorship is working for you, but... one day it will work against you. Then what?

You lefties are so misguided & hyper-denialists, my cringe muscles get a mega-workout whenever I read the bile you type here. May god have mercy on you, and may your evil ways damn you to an eternity in the place south of heaven.

I'm glad someone brought this up. The case was extremely narrowed. On top of that Lake's team has withdrawn their request to have Hobbs subpoenaed.

The judge has also made it clear he has no issue handing out sanctions to Lake's lawyers if they ultimately decide the lawsuit is frivolous.

I agree - and sure let her present the evidence. But there is a lot of bias at play in wanting to prove "election fraud". Im just not going to hold my breath for any of it.

But, allegations should be tested in court like you said. I just don't like the mentality of politicians like trump or hillary who throw these allegations out there to indefinetly cast doubt on the democratic system and create mass distrust and hate for each party.

Look how many people think the 2020 elections were completely fraudulent. Its not healthy to have politicians cry wolf because they cant stand losing.

Maga currently refers to Trump supporters. Its past uses aren't really relevant today.

Im all for testing election results. The problem comes when politicians, like trump, continue to say the election was stolen without proving it in court. Thereby casting indefinite doubt on u.s. democracy because people trust what he or other politicians are claiming as truth.

When people develop a fundamental belief that democracy is rigged without evidence proven in court, then it creates problems.

Look at your last paragraph. You describe lefties as evil hyper-denialists. This is the problem - you're moving into fundamenralism that demonizes one side and refrains from relying on evidence.

Just as we shouldn't prevent questioning election results, we also should not just assume the an election was stolen because X candidate said so.

These things need to be proven in a court, otherwise its just chaos led by bias party influence.

No, false and wrong.

Elections should be so transparent that to question it should be met with readily available sources to squash any doubt.

Welcome to ATS.

Unfortunately, political critters say lots of stupid things. Both winners and losers. As well as cheaters and the cheated.

Also unfortunately, our election processes are crap. Laws, processes and procedures are violated, including the addition of untested and unknown machines, technologies, and private third party companies.

Crappy political critters saying crappy things doesn't mean elections aren't a problem, including fraudulent. They can both be true.

I want to see what Kari's got. I assume she's going to give it the best she's got. And all the same for Katie. They're both getting their day in court and that's as it should be. That's the path to truth and justice. That's the American way.

Give the people the truth and we can figure it out.

The Democrat-led 2019-2020 Congress passed a resolution that condemns what Q says, and the people who pay attention to what Q says.

Source: www.congress.gov...

Like Congress exempting themselves from the Covid-19 vaccines, there are important lessons to be learned by those who are "street wise" and discerning.

It's the best and the most we can expect, and it should be enough to resolve the issues at hand.

Sad that I'm so happy we've gotten this far. Sign of our times.

Transparency is great - but is that the sole reason? I see a lot of people assuming 2020 elections were fraudulent. Which comes largely from a desire to believe Trump is telling the truth.

How many people are actually questioning the election results for the reason of election integrity and transparency, and not just because their party/candidate lost?

We're supposed to take the former corrupt govenor of IL, rob blagojevich, word for it? Sounds more like a grifter trying to get back into the spotlight by appealing to Republicans.

This is the point i been refering to - Trump supporters are so eager to believe that Trump knew election results would be cheated that they'll believe in any pro-trump grifter who comes along. Even if he's a convicted corrupt politician.

I don't see how people can't see that Trump is playing people. He's a con man and will say anything to stay in the spotlight and power.

I can. I'm registered as an Independent. I've been voting mostly 3rd party since '96. I did not vote for Trump. I wish Trump would go away. I'm not convinced that Trump isn't a spoiler.

I'm also a registered voter in Maricopa County. So we're talking about my votes, my ballots, my elections, my County, my elected officials, etc.

We had problems in 2018 -- before Trump started talking about 2020. Our current County Recorder, elected in 2020, campaigned on election reform, "making elections boring again".

My concerns did not start with Trump and do not end with Trump. Maricopa County has serious election integrity issues. Arizona has serious election integrity issues.

We need transparency to know if we're talking ignorance, arrogance, laziness, incompetence, or deliberate fraud. Of course, if we had transparency we'd already know.

But we don't shut down the process to facts and truth because we don't like one of the losers.
