I'd choose New Zealand...luckily thats where I am at the moment.

Why? Because I believe it to be the best country in the world...tho' pretty sure most people think that about their own country.

NZ is where my bones lay...my ancestors are buried here...this is where my whenua (placenta) is buried...so my link, my life, is to this land I stand upon.

It is peaceful here...it is spiritual here...not just body, but mind and soul are quenched here...

Not a day goes by without my breath being taken away by seeing some beauty within this land...not one single day...beauty is everywhere, even in the city here...this is truly a place God smiled upon.

Peace,
ALIEN

Hmm, I have been debating this for that last few hours but I think I have choosen.....I think I would live in Scotland. The women are beautiful, I love the way the Scots talk, but it doesn't compare to the beauty of the land....

I wanna live in space, sitting in a rocket heading towards Jupiter listening to Elton John and drinking some Jack daniels.

Somewhere cool and damp, with mostly cloud coverage instead of direct sunlight. A light mist 24/7 would be welcome.
Any ideas?

I now live in the southeastern U.S., the temperature is going to be in the upper 90's next month with blistering sun patiently waiting to give me melanoma. The heat saps every ounce of energy straight though the very pores.

The land of the long white cloud (Aotearoa) New Zealand, its all you described.

hmm...as mentioned before Cuba, not for it's revolution and all that stuff, but for it's nature, although it's a bit too hot there; 40C the whole year round

Other places I dream about are NZ, Australia and Iceland. Many people probably don't know anything about Iceland, but it's breathtaking, an incredibly beautiful country.
As I have mentioned before I might immigrate to Australia or NZ after I finish college (three years to go...)

Sorry william, no NYC for me, although I have never been there. I think it's just too damn busy.

Hmmm, this is a hard one.....

I love the mountains here in New Zealand, Tramping through the Alps is just stunning and challanging. The challanges, the rivers, the snow, the nature, clear air, drinkable streams, just all wonderful, yet I wish it was a darn sight warmer, particularly in summer..

To that end I love Australia and Queensland, long white beaches, warm water, squeaky sand, fresh seafood, fresh prawns, crayfish etc....
I like getting tanned, and wearing dark sunglasses, and having stringy salty hair, and getting up in the morning pulling on a pair of shorts and thats all!

But it doesn't really have enough temperature differentual to satisfy me, nor does it have any real mountains, apart from a rock in the middle that people oooh and ahhh over. So that physical challange is missing.

So I'd have to say 6 months in one and 6 months in the other, on the cross seasons so to get the best of both places.

NZ all the way!!!! Don't go to Aussie...the place is a big desert with small pockets of civilisation in comparison to NZ, which is lush and beautiful everywhere...

Plus Aussie has lots of poisonous nasty creatures...and thats just the citizens...

NZ buddy...I'll have a beer waiting for ya...

Probably the west coast of the South Island, north of Greymouth and south of Charleston. Coast Road I refer to it by. Its real rugged country, simply breath taking. Only downside is the large rainfall that this region is subjected to, but the inhabitants have breed a special strain of a very common plant, that helps relevie the boredom on the rainy days. And there plenty of it too.

I love the idea of living in NZ myself. Mountains, Lush vegatation, lots of things to do and see.

However for me a nice big farm in the adirondacks in upstate Ny. I prefer to not be able to see my neighbors
So maybe NZ can just be where I take holidays. Alien keep a couple beers on Ice for me please.

I really don't care as long as it's predominantly cold (er), sometimes snows, even a blizzard every now and then would be great, there's got to be mountains and I'd like to live *away* from town by maybe 15-20 miles and same for neighbors, with plenty of animals surrounding me and my loved ones, in a log cabin with fire going 27/7..
Can you tell I've thought this over for quite sometime..and that is how it has to be!! No changes

Just kiddin, I'd be happy anywhere as long as I'm loved by someone..

I would love to live somewhere tropical and waste my days away on the beach with women and cocktails. I would enjoy a much simpler life, without all the hustle and bustle, my own island would be ideal.

Ok, well I live in New Jersey now. I have most of my life. But If I could pick anywhere in the world to live...It'd be Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

For one, it's down south, baby! I love the south. And it's only an hour and a half drive from NASHVILLE! Two, I am 20 years old and haven't lived with my dad since I was about 4 years old. I have only seen him about 10 times since then. Me and him have been keeping rather contasnt communication for the past few years via phone calls, and if it werent for a few things up here, I'd go live with him, my stepmother and my little sister in half a heartbeat. But I'm a huge momma's boy, and I can't leave her just yet in this stage of my life.
