This is a little different from Flip Wilson I think. I watched him on the tube back in the day and it was just comedy. Nobody was or could be offended by it, of course, no one was offended by Blazing Saddles either but that's just a commentary on the sad state of the world now. This is ridiculous circus we live in. I don't know if it comes and goes as you suggest. It seems that it's always in my face.

Ru Paul has his own Drag Queen show now- I can't remember what it's called.

After the past years of exposure to pedophilia in all flavors of churches I figured religion was on its way out. I'm kind of surprised it's taken this long, but seeing Brita Filter 'perform' in a church has convinced be beyond a shadow of a doubt;
God has left the building.

I truly apologize for not giving my synopsis the way I wanted to, had to hold back on some things because of other peoples fee-wings. Honestly though look at the peoples faces in the background, they look straight up bewildered.

At least it was positive Christian Inspirational music for the backdrop and the performer wasn't wearing fetish gear and being overtly sexual.

I see no problems with this performance, it was respectful and decent compared to other acts I've had the misfortune of witnessing.

I mean, it's not like she's being overtly blasphemous in a House of Worship.

I've seen far worse from the Drag Community.

Someone should track down the people who run that church and beat each one within an inch of their lives.

That's sad to hear.

I wasn't aware that so many churches were having such a decline.

I'm Catholic so I guess I'm kinda ignorant outside of my own Parish and local matters.

Heartbreaking so many are falling from the Churches.

I'm not the best Catholic, I rarely attend Mass myself due to some personal issues I won't get into but my Faith remains steadfast and strong and I continue to practice outside the confines of the Church proper, but I seek to remedy that as soon as I am mentally able.

I confess I had to leave the last Mass I attended because of the new inclusion of cheesy folk music that was stirring up negatve emotions and judgemental attitudes and I left because it was interfering with my communion with God's grace and forgiveness.

I don't hold the Changes to the Church against them, they're trying to appeal to a younger audience, but I'm more content with solemn and reverent Latin Masses as opposed to corny folk singers and bubblegum Christian Pop Songs assailing my senses while I'm trying to focus on God.

It was a weird experience, but I still love Mother Church despite her flaws and I understand there so a multitude of different types of Catholics and varied Masses for varied expressions of worship but I just couldn't focus on the reason I went to service and I didn't want to continue brimming with negative emotions in the House of God.

So I left and had a beer at the local bar and felt much better about things.

God is everywhere, and if He can understand and love me with all my flaws, and share His Peace with me while having a beer on the patio of a dive bar, he can love and understand a modest Drag Queen performing a Whitney Houston song in a House of Worship.

He's kinda awesome like that.

And the demolition of Western culture continues, led by men who dress as women. How progressive. The Church has always been a focus of the anti-establishment movements, so its belittlement is a coup. Surprised the Church authorities are so naive.

On a serious note - the erosion of women's rights by the trans fascists is a real concern. Surprised that so many women don't see it, and if they do, they are too afraid to point it out.

I loved that! It actually made me laugh. It's like a comedy skit! This world is absolutely bonkers.

I am a disciple of Christ. I am embarrassed to say I am a Christian with all the fake Christians on this rock.

When Jesus beat those money changers who were on Temple grounds, what do you think he would do if any LGBTQ preformed in God's house?

People have the wrong idea of Christ. He is God and he never tolerates disrespect and dishonor in his house. Christ is king not a wimp.

LOL what if the people that ran that church put that on tv to prove that there is a ton of people in need of God and guidance? Because thats certainly what it proved to me, in that extent the church justified its relevance today but why not because I am an asshole
