Well the bureau of statistics seems to disagree according to the gentleman asking the questions. According to him, the information he shared came from the BoS in Australia.

Not to mention that Australia isn't the only country experiencing this phenomenon.

The claim that the number of births in Australia dropped by 70 percent in December 2021 - nine months after the launch of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout - is misleading. The claim compares provisional birth data with finalised figures and does not take into account a stated lag in birth registrations.

The above statement would seem to provide a reason for the discrepancy where the figures and data are concerned.

Certainly far more plausible than a 67% reduction in births.
