I can't disagree with anything you wrote.

I was just pointing out that it is funny and typical Russian humour trying to wind up the arrogant, sanctimonious and autocratic EU.

That doesn't alter my take on Putin's invasion of Ukraine, subsequent events and the performance of the Russian military.

The funny part is those hammers and sledge hammers will come into play once again and Putin might not like it as they become memes of smashing his statues or other Russian artifacts.

Indeed.
There'd be a certain amount of Karma in that.

I'd also like to see that smug, arrogant arsehole Prigozhin put well and truly in his place.

Russia has been a State Sponsor of Terrorism since Putin first took office , the EU seemed OK with that fact while they were sucking on Russia's cheap gas but now the taps have been turned off they feel emboldened to call a spade a spade ... typical EU hypocrisy .

I think a lot of countries in the world did, will, or would sponsor terrorism without much thought when it suits their agenda, and on the other side ignore it or deny it,when it's done by allied countries or if there is something in it for them.
Not just EU...

Let's not play the 'who's got the biggest splinter in the eye' game here, every big nation and organization has it's hypocrisy

And I'm not saying that because I live in the EU, over here we are not as patriotic. In fact I believe that the majority of civilians want to go back to a Europe with all it's borders intact and their own currency. But who are we?

The main reason why I made the OP was to show that this war is escalating and expanding. Even expanding beyond governments decisions with stand alone organizations that are getting involved, like the cyber attacks)
Personally I think Brussels is going to be a target pretty soon (and the reason I care about that is because I live pretty close), unless someone else continues this 'provoking game' with worse. That is where this is heading.

The behavior and actions and extremely poor global leadership of western allied governments is exactly what has led and steered the world to this point in time. All of it a deflection to force focus from them to RUSSIA, THE perfect villain and the historical villain having already been used a thousand times in just the past few years to blame everything on, while our own governments bring us to ruin.

You think this war is the result of poor leadership?
I think this plan has been in the making for years! The poor leaders that you see are merely pawns

The term terrorists' is really local level labeling. What are terrorists to one country are freedom fighters to another. The Rebel alliance were terrorists to the Empire as example. Where Putin made a big mistake is calling Ukraine Nazis as that is a very define label where terrorists is very generic. The big problem is once you label a large group like that you are dehumanizing them so that when you kill them it is good thing and not an evil act.

very true!

This reminds me of an article I've read some time ago, it was about how most history books always tell the story of the victor, never that of the party that was labeled as 'looser'

Guess it depends on what perspective you are being fed by the media

Poor leaders do all the planning, or follow the plans of those behind the scenes with the money and the power to enforce those plans.

The "pawns" certainly aren't in the planning process. But we certainly can be when they push too hard.

How many cities has America bombed in how many countries ? In regions it has no business in...

True I guess,
but neither America or EU is not considered the 'bad guy' in this war.... not from our point of view

You and who else in your pocket? Don't count me in on that "our."

List of foreign aid to Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian War

The fact anyone can look at this invasion by ruZZia on its neighbor and the things they've said and done in moscow and state TV and on the frontline and honestly say their the good guys in this one is mind boggling... first time in nearly a century a war has had a pretty clear moral line of whos the good guy and whos the bad.

Yeah Americas been a # for decades in its military actions, I dont think anyone on either side argues against that... but to me personally its great seeing at least some semblance of global unification in action on this crisis. Although typical conspiracy theorist reaction to anything remotely global is to cry foul and boast dark intentions towards the evil of globalism, as if globalism is somehow a bad thing (which it isnt, thats the simple way Humanity will eventually go its inevitable) although ruZZia sure as hell seems to be # scared of it with its 'protecting ruZZian culture and identity' BS.

America this America that, yeah we've done things and we aren't innocent but its still a fact that russia is just as guilty and unjustly invaded another country, whether provoked or not it was still unjustified and a direct threat to our interests in Europe, its silly to sit there and call us evil for responding to their actions. they have always supported terrorism against America through iran and their hamas and other terrorist puppets, why do you think chechyns are in syria or were fighting us in iraq and afghanistan?

I guarantee if the west and MSM were supporting Russia instead of Ukraine, all the same people claiming Russia had no choice and were provoked (or whatever) would be in full support of Ukraine right now.

It’s absolutely pathetic really. That their anti-mainstream mentality has distorted their sense of logic to the point where they’ll actually justify blatant war crimes and acts of terrorism onto millions of innocent people.

All this is forcing Russia into a first-strike position. Most of what's coming out from both sides are half BS. We seem to be at war but nobody is brave enough to call it what it is. So when it happens it will be after the event. "the first strike that is." Tactically speaking it would have to be quick decisive and final. Because when the debris goes high targeting will be problematic. The ruling elite in the west will be literally fighting for their lives and their generational wealth. Russia will be fighting to preserve its state, and the rest will just be collateral damage.

"Our world leaders are behaving as if they are playing a game!"

Its not a game. America's great last export are weapons of war. If the world was at peace there would be no buyers. "Russia is your enemy" is the US sales pitch that keeps the US economy from imploding.

2021 US ARMS Exports (billions) ....

Saudi Arabia 1,389
Australia 929
Qatar 906
United Kingdom 875
Japan 875
South Korea 646
Netherlands 586
Israel 550
Norway 455
India 425
United Arab Emirates 274
Denmark 226
Italy 214

Yes, but if you look at the growing rhetoric, we have an evil satanic pedo elite in charge making us poorer, and restricting the energy supplies for the winter. We also have Klaus speaking like a neo nazi about eating bugs and liking it. Then over the hill comes Russia to free us all. It looks like a rock and a hard place. That's after you have had the final booster, which you didn't want or need in the first place. There are too many games afoot to make much sense of it. But the general meme is panning out that way.

Prigozhin delivering a "bloody" sledgehammer with the Wagner logo to the EU after they voted was a nice touch.

It shows where they are mentally in this situation. I guess having billions of dollars and a bunch of perceived "power" because your mercenaries are the only ones getting any results on the battlefield gives you a nice ego boost.

Nevermind the entire nation of Russian citizens that might suffer in the end. The way they are digesting the propaganda that's fed to them by the state is reminiscent of the Germans leading up to WWII.

All the Americans eating up the Ukranian/US propaganda and allowing THE US government to keep sending billions of weapons to kill Russians might just end up biting the American citizens and make them suffer, the ones that make it anyways. Sending free weapons to a nation to kill Russians is no different then America doing the attacks themselves.

Hopefully it never comes to it but there just might be a time when Putin has had enough of the USA having this proxy war

Deleted all the BS in-between...

First strike for what? No one is threatening to enter 1 inch into Russia soil, so what the hell art you talking about that Russia is looking to preserve its state?

Worst case scenario is Russia leaves Ukraine and takes the lost. There is no invasion of Russia, no attack on the homeland, so please explain what the hell are you talking about.

Actually there is a big difference in Americans do not have feet on the ground, and to your point...Putin better hope America keeps it a proxy war. They can't handle 2% of America's war power in Ukrainian's hand, what would they do with the other 98% in American's hands?

Seems you mixed them all together, which they are not... Sit back, take a deep breath and in two years breath again.
