Definitely not buying the "accident" story. They just couldn't get away with their poor attempt at a false flag, and like someone commenting above, they know exactly where and when those missiles where launched and fired, there are many satellites tracking everything in Ukraine.

What 'investigation'?

The US had all the 'evidence' necessary while the missile was still in the air, Zelinsky is asking the US to publicly release that evidence, not to send fake and unnecessary 'investigators' for evidence the US already has.

For some reason the US isn't publicly releasing that evidence.

russia has the same 'evidence' from their own systems, and for some reason they aren't releasing it either.

I think any planned "false flag" would probably be more serious than attacking a rural farm?

If you take coordinates partly from Kiev and partly from Lviv, you'll get the coordinates in Poland where that missile hit. It was likely a Russian programming mistake. They don't want to start WWIII just yet, so they agreed to cover it up.
