I think it's a steady progress, that once in a while get some things right that will shift something so profound like the geometry of the stuff under our feet.

How much of what you belive coming from the ivory tower of science did you have the chance to peer review for yourself?
Science is corrupted and crippled thanks to economy. A healthy dose of distrust is in order.
I think alot is just blind faith, and the way folks hide behind science or bring it up to stifle certain topics it's just the same behaviors as the religious folks.
it might not meet the criteria for a religion but the people adhering to the doctrines certainly behave in similar ways.
