You could try reading the court filing I provided. It goes on to address most of the points you made and how they're wrong.
Funny you mention that. This David guy supposedly after being read his rights, waved his rights to remain silent and proceeded to explain in detail multiple felonies that he not only just committed, but future felonies that he was going to commit against the 3rd highest politician in the USA, THEN the following day plead NOT GUILTY?????????

So reports not based on nothing is evidence enough but court filings made by investigators is not evidence?
Just admit you want to believe the narrative that doesn't make the Right look bad and you don't care there's no evidence backing it up.

He has a free lawyer. Why would he not let the trial play out on the off-chance it gets tossed out?

I believe a mad man did some dumb sh1t and got arrested. BUT I don't really buy the story of what transpired.
Seems very suspect to happen this close to midterms.......
Ohh and also I choose not to believe certain thins that don't jive with me.
For example I choose to not believe that sport hinting hummingbirds is illegal.

Officers recovered zip ties in the bedroom and in the hallway near the front door as well as a roll of tape, rope, a second hammer, a pair of gloves, and a journal in DePape's backpack, the affidavit said.

Police knocked at the door. DePape tried to stop Pelosi from answering. Pelosi grabbed the onto the hammer with his right hand and opened the door with his left. Police demanded they drop the hammer. Either Pelosi let go or DePape yanked it free from Pelosi. DePape hit Pelosi with the hammer. Police subdued DePape.

He states this was a suicide mission. So it's most likely some kind of manifesto.
