Ehem. At the time I posted this, no it was not widely reported. YET. That's because lately I have been staying on top of things. And not just at Twitter, either. Had to wait for at least a few Twitter posts before I would even post it. So in one sense, he is right.

But it is a fine line using Twitter as a source, and it's tricky and risky. It is why I want Twitter embed tags, like Youtube tags on the toolbar. Because Twitter can be a source of breaking news, in addition to a lot of it being crap. Needles in haystacks, sort through the chaff. It is a price we pay to being contributors here and help keeping ATS on top of important topics fast.

Nonetheless, let's not let this devolve into trivials. The attacks on the black sea fleet with drone watercraft and the new drone war most definitely have far reaching implications for modern warfare- but perhaps those could be expressed in a lot more detail in another thread. Just saying...

Thank you and precisely my point.

This event was unique in its far reaching implications.

In 2015, a Drone flew onto the White House lawn. The most secured place in America. Suppose to be at least. Point is, can you imagine if it were far worse? Chemical or nuclear in nature?

Some real eye opener stuff.

This is how it starts. Once we've mastered these systems, we've essentially created a vessel for an AI.
