It seems the push for kherson may be coming to an end as recent evacuations of civilians by Russia and now a call from the Russian installed authorities for civilians to leave immediately seem to indicate Russian forces are heading South of the Dnipro River to consolidate their positions there.

A dam further up the river is said to have been mined by Russian troops so the prospect is the dam could be breached as a reprisal for the loss of kherson no doubt resulting in more death and destruction.

In a Telegram post, authorities called on all civilians of Kherson to leave the city "immediately", including all departments and ministries of the Russian-installed administration in Kherson.

Residents have been advised to use boat crossings over the Dnipro River, to move deeper into Russia-held territory.

Although thousands of civilians have been leaving for days across the Dnipro River, today's warning by Russian authorities marks an urgent development.

With all the money, equipment and munitions thaqt have been constantly pouring into Ukraine to fight off a poorly-trained, under-equiped, understaffed Russian forces shouldn't this war have been over on day two-or sooner?

I guess this was a learning experience for Russia, you can´t buy talent with the money. You should see this otherway around all the money Ukraine got ( which is not all from US pocket ) and were able to learn and utilize further for their own benefit and reuse items they won from russians . So you think russia did not invest in this situation? Russia has planned this more than a decade but again you can´t buy talent with the money either you got it or don´t.

Russian mobilised soldiers stage mutiny and hit back at Putin.

Wow , powerful statement from a brave man.

A uniformed spokesman for the men is applauded by conscripts after he threatened the people should topple their rulers over the war in Ukraine.

He berates an unseen commander or top official over the threats faced by conscripts called to war by the Kremlin dictator.

The unnamed reservist mocks a policy in his region - the Tuva republic in Siberia - to gift a ram to each family of those mobilised.

He says there are not enough walkie-talkies and no adequate socks for the men who have been in training ahead of being sent 3,200 miles to fight for Putin.

Putin fan boys keep spouting this nonsense.

In the first few days of the invasion, Russian Elite Special Forces where wiped out at Hostomel Aiport.

Russia's so called " best " where actually crap.

I think Ukraine is under pressure to deliver "results" before the US midterms.

I also think Russia has been holding back for a multitude of reasons. One of them being "walking on eggshells" until the Congress of the Chinese communist party is over and Xi can be reasonably sure to get his third term.

Looks like the next two weeks will be "interesting times" in the sense of the Chinese proverb/curse...

Bbc is saying the Ukrainians are using missiles on their own dam according to Russia.

This is due to to Russian forces being able to use it as a crossing.

May be all a little late for Ukraine as the way things stand that will have no power over winter.

More likely the Russian military forces have accomplished certain goals in Kherson and they are moving on. People move back home, it's up to them to figure out, "What did the Russians do while they were there?"

Bbc is saying the Ukrainians are using missiles on their own dam according to Russia.

So they plan to blame Ukraine when they blow the dam , makes sense given their track record.

You forget that Kherson is part of the annexed territory claimed by Russia , they're moving on because they're being pushed back.
