I thought it meant "Goodbye, see you later"?

The Terminator "I'll be back" was a different quote?

BBC News - Tory leadership race: Who could replace Liz Truss as prime minister?
www.bbc.co.uk...

The only one for me, if I really had to choose, might be Ben Wallace?

At least he is not a career Politician?

Never heard of him.

Did he go to Eaton? is he a minor royal or the son of some kind of industrial magnate?

Can he tell the difference between guacamole and mushy peas?

"The new HK"? What does that mean?

Hong Kong, blue print Freeport and 'exemplar' tax haven.

Rees-Mogg?

No chance....he's a Catholic.

I'm firmly in the None of the Above camp.

After they chose Truss I really wouldn't like to second guess what The Tories come up with next.....probably Sunak but I think deep down most will want Johnson to return.

No matter what we should be having a General Election.

I know they aren't the rules etc and its unlikely but this government has no credibility at all regardless of who is foolhardy enough to want to lead it.

We should but we won't.

Still think Ben Wallace might be a good choice, but then I still have a trusting faith in faeries at the bottom of our garden.

I think its highly unlikely.....they'd get an absolute trouncing if they went to the country now.
Who knows in two years time, such are the vagaries of politics and the fickle nature of man.

Who would want it, I suspect many may think its a bit of a poisoned chalice at present, some of the younger candidates may think it better to wait until after a General Election defeat?

Turkeys won't vote for Christmas.

They'd get well and truly stuffed.
