like displaced deaths covid has created displaced treatments that has taken us to where it all starts to converge. with far too many scandals brewing.. it won't be long before the scandals overwhelm the nhs, and the nhs won't be the only one..

I fully agree, the NHS maybe streached but it's an exellent world class service, and who ever Brits' vote for, they should fight tooth and nail to keep the NHS and make sure it's funded properly.

The problems the NHS is facing stem from poor management at departmental level , the expense of PFI , over-reach in the services it offers and years of underfunding ... it has nothing to do with "depopulation" plans by shadowy figures.

Moral is at the lowest I've seen in the 4 years I've worked for the NHS mostly due to failures of management and staff shortages , 12 years of Tory government hasn't helped either.

There are always trade offs when we are dealing with either private or Government socialized medicine. I go in last year and had shoulder surgery on each to fixed my rotator cuffs and I had 4 MRIs and picked the days to do the surgery. The cost was 18,000 per, but I have really good insurance so it cost me nothing, but the down fall is if you do not have good insurance then you pay 18,000 and you are most likely poor to begin with not having good insurance.

In socialized medicine there is only X amount to spread across the population, and so wait times are extreme. You want a rotator cuff repaired, well good luck, maybe next year or never. Also I take MRIs for granted, but for you all they do cat scans because they are 10% the cost and if they miss the lump oh well, better luck next time. In countries where they have socialized medicine people with money still go private, so you get what you get.

Now to add to all that, the pandemic has really screwed up the work force and especially in medicine many have moved on to other careers, or you just have people who have decided they do not need to work. In your case I bet it is more of an issue that they lack drivers, med techs, nurses etc in a system that is already built on limited resources and delays then the evil rich trying to reduce the population or control you.

based on the following numbers from the ONS of UK (yeah they could be lying)

In 2020, there were 681,560 live births in the UK, a decrease of 4.4% from 712,680 in 2019 and the lowest number of live births since 2002

In 2020, there were 607,922 deaths registered in England and Wales; an increase of 14.5% compared with 2019 (530,841 deaths)

Even in annus horribilis (thanks for that phrase Queen Liz) for deaths 14.5% up on the previous year and even in the worst year for biths since 2002 there was still more born than dying 681,560 - 607,922 = 73638

So if those excessive deaths were caused by covid or the vaccine, we have still bolstered our population by nearly 75,000 in one year

So if 'they' truly want to kill us off all they have shown me is they are as useless at governing as they are at killing us......thankfully

I come from the mindset of 'they' love their wealth and power far too much to even contemplate not having us around to empty bins, fix toilets, work in nuclear plants or drive their cars for them, as I pretty much doubt ANY politician can even change a light bulb or fix a plug
