That nice Mr Putin?

Surely not?

Let's see the usual suspects defend this.

This week alone I've seen rabid anti-semitism, religious fanaticism and now paranoid homophobia added to the long list of pathetic lame excuses and justifications given for this invasion.

ATS at its best?

I think not.

Daily mail? More lies in the English speaking world.

Now why did i know you would say that ?

Maybe because it shows Russia for what it really is, and you don't like that do you ?

Too bad.

Don’t feed into it.

If you, or whoever wants to talk about the topic on pedophile rings etc/members associated with World leaders/officials around the world etc, or Jeffery Epstein, I’m sure another thread can cover it.

Also that post shows (if you actually read it more) that Russian members condemned it and a Russian Senior official with the regional party, said the pair would be stripped of their membership at a coming meeting.

So there’s that. Move on.

Or go make another thread about it. Or any current news around the world on the topic or Jeffery Epstein etc

Russia sure are being gifted lots of things to whinge about recently(apart from Youtube I mean).

They are also pissed off about the German news company Die Walt finding out about Bulgaria supplying Arms to Ukraine on the sly, after publicly saying they would not-

Bonus aggravating fact to whinge about-The weapons were paid for by us meddling Brits and the Americans.

Now that is interesting Silicone and something one has come to sort of expect. Excellent research from you, I had a feeling Ben Wallace would be involved behind the scenes in some meddling manner

Yeah I thought it interesting that the Bulgaria arms pipeline was run/funded by some Brits and a Bulgarian with links to Harvard..Isn't that one of the main recruiting grounds for the CIA?
So maybe a joint CIA/Mi6 op?

Poland/NATO may have had enough of Germany dragging its feet with regard to the Leopards-

Warsaw is pressuring Berlin to allow it to supply German-made Leopard 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine but does not consider its consent essential, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has said. “Consent is a secondary issue,” he told Polsat television on Wednesday evening. Warsaw expects to get Berlin’s permission quickly, but could also “do the right thing on our own,” he added.

www.rt.com...

Looks like one way or another those Leopards will be sent, giving the Russians yet another thing to have a whinge about.

I can't see how the German's can wriggle out of 'doing the right thing' with Anglo Saxon nations still occupying them militarily..............

Interesting comments from Medvedev regarding possible NATO injection into Ukraine of game changing weaponry................

"Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, an ally of Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin, warned the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) on Thursday that the defeat of Russia in Ukraine could trigger a nuclear war.

"The defeat of a nuclear power in a conventional war may trigger a nuclear war," Medvedev, who serves as deputy chairman of Putin's powerful security council, said in a post on Telegram.

"Nuclear powers have never lost major conflicts on which their fate depends," said Medvedev, who served as president from 2008 to 2012." www.jpost.com...

RT.com is hardly a good source of "the truth" and I cannot access their propaganda anyway.

The fact is that NATO is a broad church, with a range of countries who have things called "opinions". This is not a problem. France, for instance, has provided very little support to Ukraine, beyond holding a few press conferences to help President Macron strut his funky stuff.

However, Germany has been problematic in how it has acted. Even before the war started, they prevented UK aircraft en route to Ukraine traversing their airspace. Now they are putting barriers up to prevent German-made kit being donated to Ukraine by other countries. It's as if Germany are unable to shake off the shackles of Russian control. Poor things. Must be difficult being a German politician - one half of you wants to goose-step around in a blitz of action, while the other wants you hiding behind the sofa in ladies undies.

France just happens to be the only one not militarily occupied by the Yanks and Brits

I agree-I noticed Lloyd Austin (US SEC DEF) was very quick to meet and congratulate Germany's new defence minister, they were shaking hands mere hours after he got the job..

And Medvedev..oh man that guy is like the kind of "tough guy" type attack dog that possibly very insecure guys who wish to project an Alpha image though their dog..
Its like he knows he was never really that significant-only got the job as Prez to keep the seat warm for Putin-and now is trying to become significant by constantly barking threats.
One thing about Medvedev is he probably would be more preferable as Putins replacement than Prigozhin-just about.
At least hes not an ex con who dispatches his own guys with sledgehammers I suppose.

and more than likely one of Russias first targets if this war stretches beyond Ukraine borders. Don't think that it is simple geography..I think Russia feels Somewhat betrayed by France and any action on the part of France in this conflict will illicit decisive, though not pinpoint surgical (as they are incapable of this) response by Russia, as Russia has demonstrated over and over.

Also don't think that the apartment building as of late was not a direct response to the timing of the inflow of stated support by all of these European countries..it absolutely was..Anyone who disregarded that wants to for their own peace of mind..more power to ya..Lookss like Putin at least 'conceptually is raising a million plus man army thats going to achieve Russias goals for god..Its officially gotten weird.

I agree-But I still check it out to see what is making the Russian Government pissed off.Which they do a lot of stories about. And I think it can be useful to see what propaganda they are shouting about,it helps me try to fathom how the Russians believe the narrative they are being spun.

I am not supposed to be able to read their propaganda either(UK Gov/web providers have cencored it).
Easy enough with a browser annoymouser though.
The government here have cencored RT on UK televison as well..

All that does is make me think my government believes me and everyone else here are too stupid to deduce what is actually going on,and we must be prevented from beng exposed to alternative views..

A bit too controlling IMO.
Maybe even a bit authoritarian.

That does not mean I buy the entire Russian narrative though.

18 January Update

* Russian forces continued limited counterattacks to regain lost positions near Kreminna.

* Russian forces continued offensive operations near Soledar, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Donetsk City.

* Ukrainian officials have indicated that Russian forces are concentrating in Zaporizhia Oblast, possibly for a large defensive or offensive effort.

* Russian forces’ increasing use of incendiary munitions to conduct what appear to be otherwise routine strikes in southern Ukraine supports ISW’s recent assessment that Russian forces likely face a shortage of conventional artillery rounds.

Weather: temperatures above freezing throughout Ukraine.
