Yet mo' T-62s enroute!

The Russian military is reportedly set to receive some 800 refurbished and possibly upgraded T-62 tanks in the next three years to try to help make up for severe losses it has already sustained in its ongoing all-out invasion of Ukraine. Many of the nearly antique T-62s have already been pulled out of deep storage and sent to Ukraine, where they have shown to be of debatable utility. . . .

It is worth noting that T-62s, while thoroughly obsolete for modern tank-on-tank combat, could still potentially provide valuable armored fire support assets for engaging lighter armored and unarmored vehicles, fortifications, and troops in the open.

Kremlin-appointed Kherson leader seeks Russia’s help to evacuate civilians

Western military officials estimate Ukraine could take Kherson up to the Dnipro as soon as next week.

Kherson is on the wrong side of the Dnipro for the Russians , they will never be able to ship in enough supplies fast enough.

And if those pontoons and whatnot they got going south of Kherson will get within artillery range it will only become harder for them.

They are again talking about opening Northern front with Belarus , i dont know what they are thnking or doing , it could be rumor also .

More and more signs point to Belarus entering this war. A new push from the North may also happend.

Well the Russians can't actually, in reality, be running out of weapons as they are about to start supplying weapons to Saudi Arabia.

Apparently relations with the US are cooling down and the Saudis are disappointed with the performance of us made anti missle/aircraft systems.

Agree , it`s really wrong place to be if Russian , the Kerch Bridge problem also limiting suplys now . Next week could be really difficult for Russians in left side Dnipro .

What happened to the 'invincible' Armata tank? I read they had about 100 produced (from an order book of thousands).

Russia have been supplying weapons to Saudi Arabia for years. And it's manufactured in Saudi Arabia under license.

Yes should be a lot those and cheap.

Wondering if this has something to do with the huge problems in mobilisation in general, they had the people do that all in USSR, but then the system was mostly removed and people too who take care everything .

Not exactly impressive-how many tanks have been destroyed in the first 8 months?

Estimates vary but this says 2500 so far-

At that rate,in 9 years they will replace approx 2400-but refurbs of course.

Those are not good numbers.

This is from RT- the Russians are claiming to have foiled a plot to bomb Turkstream(which Russia want to use to sell gas to Europe).

Saboteurs have been detained while plotting to blow up part of the TurkStream pipeline, which delivers Russian natural gas to Türkiye, the Kremlin's spokesman claimed on Thursday.
“Certain forces … have already made an attempt on TurkStream. The saboteurs have been caught, and several people have been arrested.
They wanted to blow it up. On our territory, on soil,” Dmitry Peskov said.
Peskov’s remarks follow Moscow’s proposal to turn Türkiye into a hub for Russian gas, re-exporting it to European consumers.

This is Russias last functioning gas pipeline to Europe.
As I thought about nord1+2 I doubt Russia want to lose such lucrative revenue sources.

Someone wants zero russian oil/gas getting to europe-while many have motive,few have the capability.

The ISW Confirms with videos in Geo located footage. That the Russians are shipping arms and armor via train from Belarus to southern and Eastern Ukraine.

I’m done worrying about Belarus . The rule of thumb is you don’t give your weapons away before you launch an attack.
