Well I guess everyone's ideas about democracy are different now, I guess that's why it's so volatile and only intended as a "process" in a Republic or a Federation.

Being in Europe you've surely been spoonfed the ideology of a Social Democracy, that's what all of Europe thinks it is... but there is no way to corroborate what the "majority" of the people say or want that's why it is so manipulable.

The Soviet Union of Socialist commie bastards was dissolved... they are a Democracy, now if that is not your idea of Democracy then you're not being very democratic.

What, with opposition leaders being murdered or imprisoned and all that?

How long has Putin been a dictator?

Leave it out....

Yes, you did:

"it's the EU/UN deciding for Ukraine when the people of the annexed areas chose to remain in the Russian Federation."

Direct quote from Putin's speech... once again try reading the article as he proclaimed it was "voted" upon.

Well, they are running with how rubbish our PM is at the moment.

Dissent is allowed here.

In fact, it's encouraged.

Ah. Those free and fair Russian elections.....

Well that's a two way street as I an neutral... I am shocked and surprised at how many non-Ukrainians/Russians here are opposed to peace no matter what kind of peace it is.

But rather they take the medias narrative for land they have no vested interest in and idly sit by squabbling about who is right and what is democracy while people on both sides of the conflict die.

Now that's armchair warrior shyte right there, more power to ya's.

I say peace at any cost... negotiate later and let them do themselves.

Exactly.
Russia is demanding Ukraine unilaterally lay down its arms and agree to all their demands as preconditions to talks - that is not seeking negotiation that is demanding surrender.

Would YOU agree to anything like that?
I know I wouldn't.

Yeh you keep telling yourself that iamthevirus.

There were 1000s of indigenous languages spoken by the people of the Americas long before the English got there.

Or for that matter the arrival of Christopher Columbus when he got lost trying to find a sea route to the Far East.

But if you are looking for something to beat i suggest you find a drum.

Ha ha ha....I like you.

Says the man who doesn't know he's supposed to begin a sentence with a capital letter.....
And have you seen the standard of some of the posts made by some of your countrymen?

Normally I'm not particularly keen on the grammar police, but.....hey, you know how it is.

They got their ass kicked by Putin, man up and own that shyte...

Turn the faucet back on and get you some heat and stop the killing on both sides.

Is there some problem with the annexation I'm failing to comprehend when the people in those regions identify as being in the Russian Federation?

Are you really struggling to understand why a referendum conducted in war-time by the invading force lacks legitimacy?

Neutral, are we?

Bit of a giveaway.

We've been over this ground before.

There is a big problem with your annexation and these sham referendums.

"Turn the faucet back on and get you some heat and stop the killing on both sides."

I know that you feel superior in "wielding" the English language so perhaps you might care to explain what that actually means?

Thank you.

Unwilling to retrain my keyboard to add a capital Y for yep, but I promise you it was capitalized before the keyboard lowercase it.

Besides language isn't exactly just how articulate one can be with their words, it has more to do with how one processes information.

I would suggest you are more loquacious than articulate.

As to your use of vocabulary, well you seem rather impressed with yourself.

Don't know what you are going on about "Unwilling to retrain my keyboard" wise. LoL

It's just a depress of the shift key son.

You don't need a chair and whip to form capital letters ffs.
