Multi tasking, it's a thing, you know?

Indeed. The Queen had a way with words.

After 9/11 she said "Grief is the price we pay for love".

How true.

You didn't get bored because you were multi tasking.

Is that more agreeable?

No. What's it to you, anyway?

as a perspective I've seen an undivided Britain I'd forgotten existed, bar a few individual or groups there really is little between county folk & townies, i know that'll annoy the various media outlets and talking faces that thrive on division..

I’m British and so is my neighbour.

We got up at 3am to watch. Gallons of coffee with a bit of Bailies.

We are at total odds when it comes to political issues but we had a good morning of reminiscing about the Queen and the Monarchy.

When things get rough we stand together

Even in death, the Queen managed to unite us all.

I'm not exactly a fanatical Monarchist but even I got a bit carried away.

No I’m not a big monarchist either but it is who we are. Cheers Carpy!

I'll be honest it irks me more to see major than blair.. though the hubris is the same in all of them..

Not a good one amongst the lot of them.

Damn. You've reminded me I'm fresh out of Bailey's.

It'll have to be a stiff g & t later.

Damn.

Mrs C has finished off the gin.

Wine o'clock it is, then.

None of the above for me.

Was Corbyn invited, and did Dianne....no.

Let's not go there.

I was going to crack open a bottle of Grey Goose Premium but thought better of it.

I wouldn't have let Corbyn in the same county as the funeral and as for your lass, well......
🤣🤣🤣

may the queen rest in the peace she deserves indeed

I just hople Charles rules for a year or to and hands it over to William I think thats what everyone wants across the pond, I dont know a whole lot about his politics but he seems VASTLY better than his father.

He stated only last week that he, like his mother, is devoting what remains of his life to serving as monarch. I think there’s zero chance he hands it over willingly.

For the sake of comparison, let's see Victoria's funeral procession;
