The World Is A Stage - Ukraine/Russia & Nord Stream 2

Sooo... buy the dip? I realized after getting into stock markets that us plebes are at the mercy of these global events. Few realize that the perpetrators of these global events have HUGE insider knowledge as to when markets will collapse or moon.

To be honest, much of my curiosity and contemplation, regarding geopolitics in general, stems from a desire to accurately play the markets. I very much believe that there is some serious 'slight of hand' at play when it comes to most conflicts and geopolitical events.

The situation in Ukraine is likely more complex than we could ever understand. On the surface, it definitely shows that Ukraine is an extremely proud nation, willing to fight for there beliefs and their culture until the bitter end, win or loose.

Underneath the surface, however, it is undeniable that there actually are some benefits (for select groups) to a prolonged war with Russia. The notion that Ukraine is, historically, one of the most corrupt nations in the world isn't exactly debatable. They have a decent track record for 'skimming' government aid and grant money. Just since Jan 2021 the US alone has given them approx 13.5 Billion in aid money. To think that all of that went exactly where it was supposed to and didn't line some pockets along the way is simply naive.

There are some big big players involved in the Nord Stream 2. Shell corporation funded something like 10% of the Nord Stream 2 project equating to around a 1 billion dollar investment. I find it hard to believe that entities like this, that are as globally connected as there are, wouldn't leverage so heavily into something like this without having certain 'assurances.'

Ukraine made around 2 billion annually off of transit fees from natural gas coming from Russia, so clearly the idea of the Nord Stream 2 would have been a very hard pill to swallow. Easier to swallow though if they are given an opportunity to funnel billions in aid money before it has the ability to go live.

Its pretty clear that the majority of people are confident we are heading into a recession, but based on game theory and market psychology, the majority is almost always wrong and the opposite ends up happening. With that in mind, there would need to be a catalyst to re-trigger optimism in the global economy. I cannot think of any other catalyst at the moment that could have such an impact on global economic expansion other than a conflict resolution in Ukraine, coupled with the inevitable activation of the Nord Stream 2.

That being said, I definite do think we are due for some form of recession. I just believe it will come at a time when it is much more unexpected.

Only time will tell. Otherwise, might be a really rough 'Winter'

There is exactly 1 (one) player involved in Nord Stream, who is Gazprom. Gazprom originally owned only 50% of the project in 2015, but one year later, 2016, all other partners had left the project and Gazprom remained the sole owner (although the 5 ex-partners agreed to finance each the project with 10% anyway).

You are correct. And It's Fascinating, yet not surprising, that Gazprom itself has connections to arguably one of the biggest players in the entire game.

A misguided nation by their politicians that being educated, trained in western countries. They are fighting to be part of a super state that is growing in size that of a empire.

Facts my dear old friend are simply narratives, spun by those already hypnotised, and dependent on the bias formed from their financial and social incentives. Driven by ego, the writers are already compromised by the system which rules their existence.

Money and power write history, the only eyes you should ever trust are your own. It's their very purpose, as without questioning our reality we're victims of the deception and fantasy. All of us have the power and gift that is our consciousness, we should use it free from control once in a while, and challenge ourselves to question our beliefs.

to be fair in 1833 the argentine border was an over 1,000 miles away they had cleanse the natives and invade the Desert to get their border close enough..

I think your point about the wealthy prospering from the contraction & expansion of the market is absolutely spot-on, I can see your hypothetical scenario being very close to the actual truth.

Russia made a big noise & pushed towards Kiev to start the party, then withdrew & concentrated on liberating the East completely from Ukrainian forces. And with the close/ opening of the energy pielines, every wealthy tycoon who saw it coming will make a fortune, if they invest wisely and at the right time. Highly probable, perhaps.

Or, the global elite, including Putin, genuinely want to starve & freeze us into complete submission, so that we will accept their 'Great Reset' solution.

I sincerely hope your proposed outcome is correct, at least in the short to medium term we wouldn't see excess deaths in the West from the starvation/freezing effects of their shenanigans. It would give us time to mount a proper response to their schemes.
