Its like that but from what I’ve been able to gather is that Ukraine started shelling Donbas or other sections and it caused Russia to intervene.

Though Russias economy is screwed on so many levels due to sanctions.

As for the UK, they dont want peace between ukraine and russia, they want a proxy war.

If PUTIN want's WW3 (Most Russians do not and he is facing growing calls for him to resign in his own nation as people are growing sick and tired there of living under a new police state and fearing to speak there minds and also of the fact that Russia is actually LOSING in the Ukraine) then he had better be prepared to know that NATO is not going to blink and will respond in kind of it comes down to it.

So far the ONLY activity we have is sending the Ukraine self defence equipment, now while I would rather see that money spent HERE on our NHS and in cutting our electricity bill's and perhaps renationalizing our power (never going to happen under Truss or any TORY government for that matter and likely not even under Keir Starmer) I will say this if Russia decided to go Nuclear and we get the fallout then I will be bloody angry with Russia, some of there idiot TV presenters have already called for the UK to be Nuked and that too angers me, if they were to do so make no mistake NO ONE WOULD WIN because we would rain down our own trident nuclear missiles on Russia and leave it a ruin even if it was only us and no one else however such an attack would trigger a full scale NATO retaliation and every nuclear armed nation in Nato would also launch there's at Russia, it is estimated over 2 to 4 billion people would die within the first two years after the initial exchange and every nation would be wrecked, even those not touched if they did not get involved including China, India, Pakistan and beyond.

iv been saying from the start of this is Putin starts to fail or get pushed back to the Russian Border he will use Nuclear weapons or chemical ones. What would Putin at that time have to lose? the war has maybe 3 months left, once winter comes the Ukrainians will be the ones freezing Russian troops in the forest bunkers to afraid to come out of their fox holes.


Ukraine is winning and the will continue to push the russians south into Crimea and once the Russians are cut off they will die or surrender, Its pretty obvious the pincer going on right now and i saw god speed to the Ukrainians.

I would go fight if i knew how to get there

It's not really our fight, both sides are more or less the same people just speaking two different dialects', Russia began in the Ukraine and grew east from there conquering as it went.

I have no hatred for the Russians but the story's of rape and human right's abuse did have my blood boiling but before we think the Ukrainians are not going to do the same think again and have a look at this, during WW2 an anti soviet leader in the Ukraine whom sided with the NAZI's was perhaps even more evil than they were.

Now that was a long time ago and the Soviets were almost as bad.

It is easy to say you would go and fight for them today but remember there are always too sides to every story, Putin is in the wrong, innocent kid's have died and been raped but those people hold grudges for generations.

When you see two members of a family fighting and don't really know what it is about is it wise to get too involved beyond just trying to get them to calm down.

I guess what I am saying is that the Ukrainians are not always the good guy's and we may be arming the wrong side or perhaps should not have gotten involved at all, only history will tell but the Russians had no right to torture an Aid Worker to death and it shows they are definitely not good guy in this either.

I have a feeling that Putin does not have long left in Power, this will also scare his ally in charge of Belarus, if it does not go Nuclear let's see what if anything China does as it may offer them a golden opportunity to expand there influence into Russia and given the corruption of the Russian military it will be easy for them to OWN the Russian general's, that may be very bad for the future but we will have to wait and see.

(Though we are probably, in fact definitely on the right side albeit our hat is grey as well on this one, we can not afford a new soviet union to form with a dictator that think's he can re-annex former soviet territory's and destroy now democratic nations right's).

Such an attack would also be an ATTACK on NATO country's close to it as the fallout and other debris would rain down on them, they would likely then retaliate and NATO including the US would be honour and treatise bound back them up.

So YES they would respond and don't think NATO would sit on it's arse while letting it's population be irradiated and die off from radiation sickness because we will not.

I'm not afraid of Russians soldiers I'm more afraid of their artillery, rockets(SRBM/IRBM), and cruise missiles


if the Ukrainians can keep their momentum going and the moral of Russian fighters drops as the temperature does this will be a much shorter war due to weather(thank god, litterly) the Russians are now using north Korean and Iranian weapons

Yes, As I said. The U.K wants a proxy war. Where they sit back and just give equipment to the Ukraine, and let Ukraine and Russia beat each other up and weaken themselves. Better than WW3. Better than going to war themselves. Proxy war.

Why do you think the Western world just sits back and gives Ukraine aid? They applaud the Ukraine and the Prime Minister there, and just give a few millions of dollar and some equipment. They want the proxy war too to weaken Russia without affecting their own countries. They are quite happy to give aid to Ukraine and let Ukraine do the fighting. they won't get involved with their own militaries, but happy to send the gifts and equipment to Ukraine.

It is not a war yet. If russia had truly invaded western shock and awe style if would have been over in weeks, you know that.

I have a family otherwise I would be there. My family comes before all my personal desires.
