Btw, last winter was crazy here....never seen so much snow .

Lucky! We didn't have a single flake of snow here (Worcestershire, England) in the whole of last winter (there was a light fall in November, and that was it)

Snowless winters are now more common than snowy ones

Was this the one you talk about :

NASA Predicts Next Solar Cycle will be Lowest in 200 Years (Dalton Minimum Levels) + the Implications

It`s troubling if China has fingers also in nuclear plant, it should be big no no .

Yep, that's the one. It quite upsets the global warming people.

The last mini ice age that lasted from like 1300 up until the mid 1800s I believe was caused more from 5 massive volcano eruptions and changes to the Gulf Stream with maybe some Grand Solar Minimum mixed in like sprinkles on top of the cake, but a Grand Solar Minimum does not lead to a mini ice age all by its self or would be a major factor in it happening.

As to global warming today. It is said we are still getting out of the last big ice age, so what is normal...who knows.

Yeah, that phrase; "no regrets", is very clear in its meaning. Not surprising, though. In a scenario like the one outlined in the report, world will go (even more) dog-eat-dog in short order.

Cheers

I'll smoke a cigar and drink some good Burdon in your honor. What I think I read was like 4 mount Pinatubo level eruptions or worst in a very short period of time with a shift in the gulf stream and it all compounded into what we saw.

Thanks that was really good read, i guess this winter will shown a lot how it goes....if there is weak polar there is possibility to get cold times...

I did not realize that the volcano ejected water vapour up there...

Getting ready for winter here, firewood all allmost done....i am planning to stay warm
