So they know what stops covid 19?
Sounds like the vaccine should be nicotine.

I assume you have let your employers know you have covid and your coworkers?

And they still allowed you to work? So now Wal Mart doesn't care if you work with a positive covid test?

superspreader

Give it a rest. You seem schizo, and obsessed. Yes, they know. A lot of people have been working with it lately, which is probably why I caught it.

here is what you are supposed to do according to the drs and scientist and CDC and WHO and NIH

This is also Wal Marts requirements.

Stay home, except to get needed medical care. Stay home from work and school, and avoid other public places including the store. If you must go out, avoid public transportation or ridesharing/taxis. Stay far away (6 feet or more) from other people. Wear a mask at all times and wash or sanitize your hands often.

So you are umvaxxed, unmaksed , and positive for covid and going to work at Wal Mart every day.

Are you trying to kill old people?

Have you seen government weed? It looks like they took the term grass literally, because that's what it looks like. Decaying grass clippings.

Alternative narrative, smoker = naturally socially distanced.

Social smokers tend to gather in pairs or more.

Cool story bro..
So I guess the vax doesnt work?

More like if he found out he had lung cancer he'd blame it on covid.

Tobacco - is it a sin?

Might not put you into hell, but it sure smells like you came from there.

Vaping leaves you and your clothes you odourless, if you fancy getting involved 😁
Since I started vaping not one of my loved ones suspects. I won't tell them as they would never believe it's much healthier than smoking.
Which apparently isn't bad either, if you read BlackArrow's post in this thread.
People have been lied to way to much, it has got to end!

Back when I was 18/19 I was smoking two packs a day and then some. I started coughing up blood and my lungs started hurting something awful. Was always tired and felt feverish. Went to get checked out, and they said my lungs looked okay except for the fact that I had apparently had been dealing with tuberculosis for a while and

Cancer scare over, but I couldm't figure out how the hell I had tuberculosis. I was talking to the girl I had been dating for a bit about it, and she just casually mentioned that she had been dealing with it. So, I had been spending enough time with her to build up my levels of TB unknowingly or something and got it.

The kicker? The doctors said it was because I was smoking so much, but that didn't really convince me. The girlfriend giving it to me made a lot more sense when I found out.

I still cut back on smoking, because honestly two packs a day and more is ridiculous. I didn't take the medicine the docs gave me. I just told my employer I had it and that I wanted to use all of my sick days and just chilled at home still smoking both tobacco and the green stuff. Cleared up on it's own and never looked back. Only just remembered about it.

I have been a long time smoker and for all that time i have been able to tell people that i never get the Flu. About a year and a half ago this idea that smokers dont or hardly get covid started to pop up and i had no trouble believing that. The last time i had the Flu it was very light and that was 10 years ago and during all the time i have been smoking i only gotten the flu 3 times or so in 20 years.

A few days ago i visited someone who now a few days later has told me now has covid [EDIT:] we sat right next to each other for a few hours[End EDIT]. I got nothing. I think there is real validity to this.

No. I took 3 days off, and I'm wearing a mask to work. It's more likely that I spread it before I knew I had it.

Seek help.

True. Maybe it's a side effect of the nicotine that makes people want to be around others who do not make it their life mission to tell them what dirtbags they are.

Or maybe it's human nature... nah, everyone wants to be badgered 24/7 about how they stink and they're destroying everyone around them and they're polluting the air and they're going to die a horrible death, amirite?

In today's society, there are no non-smokers. There are smokers and anti-smokers, and never the twain shall meet.

Could be? I get that vibe when I go to spark up often. Individuals far off starting to cough or trying to give me a hint. I get it, on a certain level there could be some truth to the idea. I can't help but wonder if they realize nobody knows necessarily when their time will come. A part of me wants to say "Eh man, eat me!", lol.

Others have tried to tell me, you need to find the reason you want to quit. I enjoy it, and quite frankly have bigger fish to fry. There may be valid esoteric reasons to quit, I'm not there yet. I wish they would speak more plainly about this with me, though get the impression individuals shy away. I'm not the judge of that, however I do practice smoking more considerately around others most of the time. Depending on my schedule, most days I smoke 1/2 pack at most.

As far as this virus, most of the smokers I know have all had very minor cases being infected. Imo, it's to do with the way the nicotine interacts with the ACE2 in the lungs. It's a little disappointing to take fire for smoking sometimes. Perhaps I'm naive, I believe my body starts fighting virii as soon as they enter my system. Injecting and getting my body to mount a defence to corona virus from within seems more risky to me than having it go the scenic route. Other's have told me they haven't thought about that, makes me wonder what else hasn't occurred to them.

Not watched the video but seen him before..

His theroy is that it attacks the nicotoine recpetors. And nicotine fights it off. Without it then it attacks through the receptors.

Unsure if he talks about it on this video. But he also claims that the cobid 19 is man made and is Cobra venom. As all the symptoms relate to the same as cobra venom. Interesting theroy.

In the past years, I have actually become somewhat militant about my smoking, to the point I have actually drawn a fist back at people over that kind of behavior. Eventually, I know I will probably cold-cock some jerk who doesn't have sufficient neural capacity to know when to shut up and go away, but that's just life.

At the end of the 70s I gave up illicit drugs. In the early 80s I gave up getting drunk (tee-totaled for a few years, but I do drink a PBR occasionally now). In the late 80s I got married and gave up chasing women. I've never been much of a gambler. That leaves one vice left, and it isn't hurting me. Someone wants that last vice, there's going to be a fight and it will not be with mean words.

I want to see the man who can make me quit smoking. I'm sure someone out there can. It's just that in my entire 60+ years, I have never seen anyone that big and bad. I'd like to see him just once before I die.

I haven't really had anyone in my face about it. I can relate to the Rambo way you described it. Smoking cools my jets periodically, I find myself behaving more intense the last times I've stopped. I don't find it a big deal, though sharing smokes with others, their graciousness suggests it can be a often judgmental world out there.

I've had coronavirus a couple of times. It's been mild chest congestion/headaches for several days the first time. A few days of flu like symptoms the second time. Felt lethargic then more refreshed after resting. Drank lots of fluids and took liposomal vitamin C.

I don't get sick often. I think for those who smoke, diet plays an important role too. (inflamation)

I'm a social smoker. I'm not a stress smoker or whatever. If I want to relax and smoke alone I roll a spliff up and go for a nature walk.

There is a difference betweem social smokers, the other smokers, and non smokers.

Most social smokers I've known are real chill and accepting people, except for obvious momemts when someone is being an asshole.

Stress smokers are always a bundle of nerves ready to go off at any moment.

The non-smokers (not all of them, but basically all of them) Are straight up a holes.

They have to be heard when telling you it's nasty. They get loud, they point fingers, they insult, tell us we're disgusting.

Like, I'm sure most people know that smoking areas are pretty much always in a position where it's confined in one area away from everyone else, and if there isn't one smokers are pretty good at finding spots off the beaten path to be left alone or when another fellow smoking traveler stops along their journey. So, for a non-smoker to go out of their way to invade the personal space of others trying to relax for a minute just to be rude and make a scene that's mighty hypocritical.

Smokers are well aware of the risks said to be associated with smoking, and it's their life. It's not like people are still smoking in restaurants, planes, trains, and hanging out in front of doorways.

Tangent over lol

I really think it's odd that we were talking about smoking, nicotine, and ACE2 back when the covid BS first took off. It got dismissed, and now it's making it's rounds again.

Honestly though, we all live our own lives. Live your life the way you see fit. If people want safety and security they should stay inside their entire lives.

When people step outside their homes they are entering into a world we all share. The things they come into contact no matter how beneficial or malevolent that's the risk of going out into the world.

If you want to smoke, do so. It's your life. Don't let anyone have power over you. If they want to complain about the smoke they should wear their holy masks.

Take it as an opportunity to tell them about all the other toxins, foreign matter, and microplastics they consume and breathe in even without the cigarettes smoke.

Thank you AutomateThis1v2.

It's just hard sometimes encountering skepticism when sharing ideas about improving health, and catching flack for smoking. It's been the the better part of 30 years as a smoker, and I feel grateful for each day on this journey. There's nothing more I'd like then for others to cultivate their peace of mind, though that's not my decision. Most of the smokers I know are very chill. It's usually others who don't know me very well that give me pause to think sometimes.

If someone gets infected, it's easy to feel anxious given all the spin around the info out there. Hopefully, if someone practices being proactive looking after themselves in the initial stages, their experience with this virus will be mild. I don't think it has to be anything extreme, I took about a cup of Lipo C spread out over the the few days, last time. The body is a miraculous thing, I feel given the right nutrition it's capable of much self healing.

Hey Redneck, you should try Montucky. It's cheap like PBR, but the taste is a bit better.
