Im far from a religious person & very much an occultist in makeup. I have no children of my own , and am pro life with only 3 reasons for early abortion.
I believe in the magical union of two to make one & destroying any life out of inconvenience is dark magic.
With that salvo out of the way .. here we go

Now my question is for fathers & mothers who are pro choice, and it is simple in nature.

As a pro choice parent , would you support your daughters right to abort her child & your future grandchild ?

Absolutely, it's completely their decision.

How about you let me and your mom take the child and raise it the same way we raised you.

I would not support the abortion of a healthy baby human unless danger to the mother or incest/rape.

Aborting out of inconvenience is evil and should have never been an option.

Just my 2 cents

I would support my family in what they decide. What I find odd with the abortion debate is no one is forcing anyone to have an abortion but now the gooberment is forcing people that they cant have an abortion, so much for freedoms.

I much prefer the gooberments to keep there eyes/ears/hands out of peoples business and lives.

Absolutely.

And your belief in the existence of "dark magic" suggests that you have allowed fantasy to blind you to reality.

Absolutely. Although in my opinion 10 weeks or less, or beyond if her life is in danger.

I know as I have always stressed how difficult college would be, or how difficult it would be in general to be a young single mother. So they all take making sure they are as protected as can be in their relationship crucial. Nothing is foolproof though, so although I personally never considered one, they should have the right to.

Thought I would add that my 3 daughters take that right very seriously. They nixed wearing the flag shirts they bought for the 4th and did not want to celebrate. We went to a taco and tequila festival instead.

One was offered a job in other states last week by her company. After looking up each states trigger or new abortion, laws, she said no she'll stay here.

My belief is not on debate here . Just parents who are pro choice .
Thanks for playing & a 2 cent coupon will be mailed to you for your use toward anything you like .?
My belief is stated so ME the thread creator can head off debates of what I believe. People ask for your beliefs & ideas or opinions often here on ATS .
I can start a thread on western magic if you would like that . Absolutely was your response & the rest of your post is silly

You should rejoice in the fact that the Federal Government has given the CHOICE to the States & the Federal Government never once said you can’t have an abortion nor is it illegal on a federal level ..
were have you been studying the type of info you wrote in your response, because it reflects nothing true about the SCOTUS ruling.

I live in the UK and we have had the same issue with Northern Ireland but it dont stop women who have made that difficult choice coming to the UK and having one (prior to March 2020), so in all honest its utterly pointless making such a ruling to begin with, I was speaking from expierence of this pointless law and trying to show how pointless it will be in the USA (due to moving from state to state), although if the point is to make more criminals out of people and feed the police state and prison system then it will be a success.

edit
some context and history of the same issue in the UK

Abortion in Ireland and Northern Ireland

In October 2019 abortion decriminalised and became lawful in Northern Ireland. A new framework for lawful abortion services came into effect on 31 March 2020

I for one would love to see a thread on western magic, it would have to be a “mud pit” type discussion, because tempers would surely flare.

No, I'd tie them in a bed for 9 months and force them to make me a grandchild.
Their choice means nothing.
There is nothing that will get in the way of my feelings.

You do realize that this was returned to the states don’t you? You can abort at will in some states.

Of course!!! If it's not a right for every woman, then it's not a right at all... It's a privilege for the few.

To take it a step further, because I do understand that each and every pregnancy can go very wrong very quickly and endanger the mother's life, I have the utmost respect and gratitude for my daughter-in-law, who has "given" me a precious grandchild at significant risk to herself.

Prior to this recent Supreme Court decision, abortion was considered a Constitutionally protected right of the individual, meaning that an individual could choose to have an abortion or not (within some limits specified in Roe v Wade) regardless of what the Federal or State government felt about it. The Supreme Court said no, it's not; therefore either the Federal or State government can now make that decision for you. Some states are already making that decision for their citizens. MeatHookReality's comment is simply reflecting the fact that these decisions used to be made one at a time at the lowest possible level of authority (the individual) and now they can be made in mass at the highest possible level of authority (the Federal Government).

Not sure why someone who enjoys personal freedom would rejoice that they are no longer free to make these important decisions for themselves. The only people rejoicing are those who want to make those decisions for others.

And that was the only thing that was important to her in making that decision?

No, but it was important. She has concerns. She is aware of Clarence Thomas' comments that he feels contraception rulings should be revisited. She would not want to move to a state, then have that right, along with an abortion choice taken away. As a female these are valid things to consider.

I would sit down with my daughter and reassure her that if she was worried about the financial problems, her Mom and I would help. If she was worried about work/school and childcare, Hey ya gotta free babysitter right in front of you for as long as you need me. I'd love to have another baby around but I'm getting a little long in the tooth to have another, but a grandchild would be the highlight of my day. I don't have any yet.

BUT....In the end, it's not my decision. The only thing I can do is make sure she knows help is here if she needs it.

And in those states with a ballot proposition process, the citizens can make that decision for themselves. Arizona citizens are currently in the process of doing exactly that. The petition to put the issue on the ballot has been circulated and will be turned in by the end of today. If enough valid signatures have been attained, it will be placed on the November ballot and the people will decide... NOT elected/unelected officials.
