Thanks. That dawned on me as well.

It's just a nonsensical argument either way as the first amendment has nothing to do with the discussion.

The 4th and 5th, yes. But context is required.

Spitting out constitutional amendments does not an argument make.

I heard a lot of people argue about the bill of rights, the amendments, and how they pertain to them when stopped with Police so there is that.

Especially if they feel they have been stopped inappropriately or do not wish their vehicle to be searched without good reason.

Take this fellow for instance.

That's true. But the poster is making no such arguments.

He's not being arrested by jobsworth Police through.

Put it this way i dont think its a good idea to argue with police, better just doing what they say until you can get a hold of a solicitor, because they are not apt to admit to being in the wrong and pissing them off tends to end badly.

Which is plainly evident via the video i posted aka you cannot win.

First of all, lol on that sticker.

Secondly, he's probably going to enjoy the lawsuit on first amendment grounds. He may also have a 4th amendment argument because a sticker is hardly probable cause.

There may be more to the story as well.

Imagine getting your day ruined and vehicle towed over a sticker as well. LoL

The mind boggles really.

We're 100% on the same page with this, I really don't get what people are trying to accomplish other than trying to be divisive when what is really needed is compassion and tolerance.

This guy was a sick person who obviously planned this out for months, the people he killed were random and he did this for pure enjoyment, not to prove a political stance and frankly I don't know of any American political party that advocates shooting other Americans.
Wow, you are very adamant about his motivations which you have zero insight on compared to the rest of us. Once again your shameful bias is out on full display.

Honestly if this is as cut and dry as it seems then yeah, that would be crappy and I'd be pretty angry myself.

Given the horrible little bastards fascination with mass shootings and his posting history online i dont think AugustusMasonicus is going to be far off the mark with that assessment.

Little wrong'yin most lightly committed the horrendous act of depravity for sick kudos and his 15 mins of fame.

I suppose his reasoning's for his actions will all come out in the wash.

Well at least we can agree on some things.

That sticker was indeed class in a glass all the same.

The kid is insane.

The fact that people are trying to pin this on Trump or the left doesn't seem right to me considering the nature of his behavior and his personal past.

He's a broken individual with # parents who obviously neglected the situation. Same goes for the cops/FBI as well considering this is another case of "known to law enforcement".

The misdemeanor law was found to be un-Constitutional but a district Judge ruled that the cops had qualified immunity which we really need to look at more closely as it allows them to get away with civil rights violations without fear of prosecution.

Even if they are reprimanded does it not turn out half the time to be a token gesture?

My understanding also is that reprimands are time sensitive and don't remain on Police records forever.

Qualified Immunity is literally "get away with murder" by judicial decree.

I get that cops need to have SOME top cover to do their jobs but blanket immunity when they do wrong is wrong.

We should definitely change that.

Might go along way to change the perception of cops being racist too. When the truth is that cops are incompetent and poorly trained individuals with criminal immunity built in.

But that's a different thread.

Wait... Did we just find some common ground?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to take the bulk of statistical evidence when it comes to mass shooters and apply that to other mass shooters. So far it has bourn out in this case.

He had a messed up childhood with absentee parents, held grievances and posted publicly about his desire to carry out his actions. That's the trifecta.

Maybe if you looked into the actual backgrounds of these people you'd find their actual causes and motivations instead of playing some dopey political point scoring game.

In this case it was that he was personally offended.

F*** off, Five-O, your feelz don't matter.

LOL, you and I see eye to eye on far more than it superficially appears. Believe me.

That snowflake should be fired if he wasn't at the time.

Edit:

It bears to keep in mind for the readers here that police are people too. They do all the dumbass things that people often do. Including letting their personal feelings get in the way of their jobs.

The sad part is the dispatcher or sergeant on the radio seems to be in total agreement with the officers actions.

Like to stick together that mob or so it seems.

I heard what he said in the video but I don't know how this went on in court. If that was his reasoning in court then he needs to be fired for being a snowflake.

There should be "bitch-ass snowflake" clauses to all police hiring contracts.
