And I'm attempting to show you what you're supporting.

What about this are you not understanding? I don't support Russia or Ukraine. I want out of the fray.

Cant have that, you MUST choose a side!!!

That way you can fall in line or be a putin puppet. If you abstain, you only exist to imvalidate both positions.

Ukraine was invaded.

Easy to choose sides.

Ukraine was comitting genocide.

Your opinions are irrelevant to me.

Russia is much worse when it comes to suppressing the opposition and Ukraine only did this now, after 8 years of war.

That is false. They didn't start doing it this year.

Also, the "war" was Ukraine shelling civilian districts in Donetsk daily. Ukraine acted as terrorists do, for 8 years.

It's like if you saw two guys on the street, one of them keeps hitting the other. And then that one finally throws a punch back. If you upset at him at that point, you're either not being fair or you've misunderstood the whole situation somehow.

We don't owe freedom to those who seek to destroy freedom.

No.
Your simpltic analogy ignores history and context.

We dont owe Ukraine anything.

I was just talking about banning this opposition party. It's easier to justify banning Russians from entering. And strana was only a year ago apparently, big difference.

You misunderstand my position here.

I don't agree with Russia's gangster government either.

I am not misunderstanding.

Russia made a law after the invasion that it was criminal to have an opposing opinion of the "war" (and according to them its not a war).

That happened. For real.

Not a projection.

⚡️The German government is fighting against freedom of speech. I am a free journalist who covers the special operation in Ukraine. They are going to sentence me now to 3 YEARS IN PRISON for telling the truth⚡️

According to current German law, it is only allowed to publish one-sided information that benefits the authorities. Anything that goes against this unwritten law is punished by the biased judicial machine.

We are a Global World -- whether anyone wants to admit it or not.

When you allow a larger country like Russia to invade a small country like Ukraine -- who's next?

When does Russia stop if allowed to freely take over one neighboring sovereign nation.

So banning the Russian language, Banning Russians from entering, and banning pro Russian media is fine with you.

Those are signs of cultural genocide. At the same time they were prosecuting a genocide with weapons mainly artillery on the ethnic Russians in Donbas. Purposely shelling civilian districts daily. For 8 years.

Exactly, because they do this in defense against Russia's campaign of cultural and literal genocide. So when you put all this effort into denigrating Ukraine's resistance, you're effectively pro-genocide.

Who? Please complete this ridiculous logical tangent. Go on, consult whatever source you got that laughable talking point from for the answer.

Go look up the definition of that word then get back to me.

That is a 5 on the mental gymnastics scale. Good effort but horrible reasoning that only makes sense if up is down and black is white.

You may as well say War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery, and Ignorance Is Strength.

No, the reality is their banning was not done out of self-defense at all. The ones pursuing genocide are Ukrainian nationalists, not Russia.

Not the first or last time Ukrainian National TV had hosts or guests promoting genocide.

What did I present...my opinion about the content I've seen regarding this conflict? If you'd like to have a more informed opinion you're welcome to follow my lead and use the thing between your ears and look. There is literally massive amounts of content and reporting you can look into. Almost all of it has a bias though so pack your critical thinking cap if you have one.

We don’t owe either of them anything.

If two gangs end up in a fight in the alley we don’t have to cheer for either of them.

Sure, one of them obviously threw the first punch but who cares? Lowlifes fight, that’s what they do.

You won’t see me joining in.

That's a different question, whether we should support Ukraine or not. And you can argue that we should do it because it's morally right or just because it's a good investment. But all I said was that we shouldn't support Russia.
