"What shall we do with the bodies sir"?

"Ah yes the bodies, well we wouldn't want them distracting from the official funerals, coronations or baptisms.
I'd say bury them underneath the graves we already have".

"But we don't have any graves in Siberia, sir".

"Just goes to show, it's never too late to start - right turn"!

And to reinforce the point, here lies a trooper underneath a trooper which marks this pile of earth forever British.

Dismissed!

Looks like at least we won't have to do that nasty "Boer War" scorched earth business.

Everything here already looks suitably scorched.

So what makes these Different:

Vietnam war - largely believed to be an unjustified war.

Iraq war - largely believed to be an unjustified war.

Western Intervention in the Ukraine war.

Since Thatcher the same old gang that came over with William the Conquer still own 40% of British soil and have made a striking comeback, so much so most can't afford to live decently in their own country anymore as the rents take up most of there earnings. On a per-capita basis compared to the living standards in Russia with necessities subsidized it is a better place to live now. This is just a demonstrable fact. If this goes on they will become irelevant so in their minds Russia must be wiped out, before this socialist nightmare infects the minds of the peasants. The haves and the have-nots fair distribution of a country's wealth and all that.
The same old gang still runs America as well, when you find out who runs the Federal Reserve, you will find the same old boys there as well. Like Lavrov said bring it on, it is well overdue.

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of death's construction

In the fields, the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord, yeah!

If it is the latter, i don't see many sane people apt for turning up gortex.

Short of an actual invasion of the UK, or Putin doing a full-scale European invasion(which as we both know is beyond Russia's capability), or the nukes coming out the pram, i don't see people wanting to fight unless it's to defend their own shores.

People see the way we treat our soldiers when they return from war, poor sods canny even get a council house, decent prosthetic limbs, or the psychiatric help a lot of them require.

If we are sending people off to die in Europe it should be Boris and his ilk before anybody else imho.

Damn that hit hard, good post 👍🏼

Worded it way better than I was going to lol

The Western European Countries that are Members of NATO are WAR MONGERS . Actions Speak Louder than Words..........

Only if you ignore the fact Russia illegally invaded Ukraine, Crimea, Georgia etc...Russia as regularly flown bombers into UK airspace in recent years, and has been threatening to nuke the UK and has used nuclear and biological weapons on UK soil several times in recent years and killed UK civillians in the process.

As others have pointed out NATO's response was prompted in the former Yugoslavia down to the mass genocide and ethnic cleansing being committed at the time.

Which resulted in people being driven into neighboring nations and had the potential to destabilise the entire region.

Far as i can establish the NATO airstrikes had the intended effect with the end result being Serbia agreeing to create a separate state for both the Bosnians and Croats.

Just saw this quote in that wonderful journal, the Daily Express:

"I called a back end of Lord Dannatt (former Army head) to discuss with you, guys. And when I was in the army, we had 55,000 soldiers in the British army of the Reich.

😆

I trust "Former army commander Kriss Akabusi" (who seems to have finished his military career as a warrant officer) actually said British Army of the Rhine.

Cheers

I understand that you believe Putin started an unjustified war with Ukraine. But what does that have to do with the wests justification for involving themselves?

There was military conflict on going in Indochina prior to the start of the Vietnam war; was the US justified in adding and than significantly expanding military aid in an attempt help to south Vietnam end the conflict?

If not what is the difference?

Ukraine has always been important to Russia.

So what?
Russia gave assurances that it would always respect Ukrainian independence and would never invade Ukraine.

Ireland was always 'important' to the UK....doesn't mean we can interfere in how the country chooses to run itself, dictate what organisations it can join or its defence policy. It doesn't mean we can invade RoI on some whimsical made up allegations in order to restore it into the UK.

The CSTO will never allow Ukraine to go NATO.....

I really don't know how many times people have to repeat this FACT: Ukraine was refused entry into NATO, twice.

....and the only way to prevent that is through the special operation.

But that flies in the face of the FACTS; NATO refused them membership.

And why do you insist on calling it a 'special operation', have the strength of conviction to call it what it is; an invasion, a declaration of war.

Why do you pander to Putin so much?

I have no preference to either side here be it Washigton / NATO or Russia / CSTO...................

Sorry to disagree but it seems to me all you have been doing since this invasion started is voice Russian propaganda verbatim.

Yet one has to see things from the eastern perspective and what they have experienced over the past 31 years watching western inspired coups all over the FSU to plant western educated locals into power and bring in the usual Yankee doodle dandy military occupation and economic system with them

Where were all these 'western inspired coups?
Have you ever wondered why so many people from these countries prefer a 'western' style lifestyle to that which Russia offers?
Have you ever wondered why so many of these nations are actively seeking closer ties with NATO/Western Europe rather than maintaining links to Russia? Why is that so preferable?

You seem to be trying your best to make every excuse possible to vindicate and justify Putin's invasion of Ukraine and place all the blame for the subsequent death and destruction on 'the West'.
You seem consumed with self-hatred.

Its been sad to watch.

Blimey FB calm down please
and I'd prefer you keep any personal judgments an name calling to yourself.

You need reminding we are on a conspiracy website not the BBC news channel.

I have no dog in this fight as most Brits ish don't and consider the whole fiasco in the east an inter Slav mafia battle over resources. Cheered on by various outside influences.

Stay calm and carry on. Have a nice day

Ha ha, I'm remarkably calm I assure you, if I was any more laid back I'd fall over.
Apart from the odd case of road rage - usually with BMW drivers - I can't really remember the last time I wasn't calm.

....and I'd prefer you keep any personal judgments an name calling to yourself.

Name calling?
Just an observation....getting a tadge sensitive aren't we?

You're a good guy, just seems a bit sad to see you voicing so much Putin propaganda and dogma verbatim etc.
But that's entirely up to you.

You need reminding we are on a conspiracy website not the BBC news channel.

But not EVERYTHING is a conspiracy.
Surely after all your years spent on here you've come to realise that in fact most things are NOT conspiracies.

The biggest conspiracy of all is that the genuine and important conspiracies are hidden amongst the mountain of #e and nonsense that only serve to deflect and discredit the real conspiracies.

On another slightly off-topic note; I've recently watched some great BBC Documentaries.
The BBC gets slated - and at times quite rightly so - from all sides and directions but it still produces some quality programmes.
These documentaries were on Putin and his Russia, President Xi and his China and best of all a series of 5 about Iraq.
All are excellent viewing.

I have no dog in this fight as most Brits ish don't and consider the whole fiasco in the east an inter Slav mafia battle over resources. Cheered on by various outside influences.

Whatever it is it is senseless and needless....and all as a result of Putin ordering the invasion.
Sure, there's been many contributory reasons.....but Putin ordered it and all the death and destruction is down to him.

Stay calm and carry on.

Always.
Pick the Grandson up from school, got a couple of things to do then feet up with a Margarita or two in the garden I think.
Or I might go to the pub, watch the world go by and talk bollocks to some mates.

Have a nice day

I try.....and you.

Just stating the obvious. The US is going to collapse in a few years and Europe needs to be able to defend itself again. About the only positive of the Ukraine war is that it showed the Russian army was a disaster waiting to happen. HOWEVER. Those are the kind of disasters that show what needs improvement and worked on. The Russian Army 2.0 that should come out of the Ukraine disaster is going to be a brutish nasty version of the sleepy sloppy one that went in.

Otherwise it could look like 1939 all over again. With Russia as the aggressor.

Body positive U.S army in action.

Not surprising considering:
