You know, I am not a supporter of the unification of all the former Soviet republics into one state. For one simple reason, no one forcibly pulled them, but at a difficult moment they betrayed and also took away its territories from Russia. But it was Russia that gave statehood to many.

Poland has always been an enemy of Russia, like all limitrophes and renegades who once betrayed their Faith and identity, and then hated their past.

Ukraine is the first thing I see right now on cnn.com. Most intense fighting so far going on at the moment, too. But whatever helps you cope.
