In Russia there are local regional media, there are federal media. "Federal" does not mean governmental. They are just universal.
So the , what is the “Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications” also known as Rospechat?
Much more than a chain of newsstands.
The Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications (Rospechat) is a regulatory state agency within the hierarchy of the Russian Government.[2]

Anyone else find it strange that RT won’t touch this?
Overall, I've found the OP to be extremely frank, cordial, responsive and relatively transparent.
There remains a certain amount of obfuscation concerning how closely his work is tied to the Russian government...but that is understandable considering the nature of this thread's topic.
I think he's said he lives just outside of Moscow.
He gives a pretty clear "picture" of what Russian people are being told by Russian media.

Rospechat is a corporation that has a network of newsstands throughout the country that sell newspapers and magazines))))))
A corporation overseen by whom, exactly?
The sad part is, you probably really believe that it’s a newsstand. That’s what happens when you only get government approved information.
And that, friends, is called irony.
If you know better than me what and how is happening in Russia, then you are probably the Russian troll))))

I work for a nationwide public organization. I get paid for my work, not a salary.
Would your family be safe if you said 'two words'?
My family is absolutely safe as long as I keep the Fa and do not commit crimes.
Unless criminal people want to take revenge on me.

Freedom and democracy. Unless you question Putin-from-the-rough. Then you get a nerve agent or jail.
The world knows.

If you do not know, and do not even want to know such simple facts, then how can you even judge Russia in any way?

I imagine he doesn’t understand. Living in a country where judging your government results in getting nerve gassed will do that.
Tends to cloud understanding.
