Well. This is interesting if the figures are close to being accurate.

On the low-end that's 120,000 people picking up and leaving their country ... in just a few months. I didn't know there were that many jobs out there taking international applicants. -chuckle- I guess the Russians are one of the most sought after groups of techies in the overall industry, huh?

Sorry for the sarcasm, but those numbers are so farfetched I can't believe they made it to the boards.

Encourage freedom of thought? Wow, sounds like a Pentagon talking point to me.

I wonder if they will have the freedom of thought and freedom of speech as we practice in the US where physicians who dissent from the Fauci Narrative are punished and prosecuted with loss of license?

How funny you are F2

Russian Tech Industry Faces ‘Brain Drain’ as Workers Flee
Since their country invaded Ukraine, Russian tech workers have left by the thousands. They appear intent on rebuilding their lives and businesses in other countries.

www.nytimes.com...

By March 22, a Russian tech industry trade group estimated that between 50,000 and 70,000 tech workers had left the country and that an additional 70,000 to 100,000 would soon follow. They are part of a much larger exodus of workers from Russia, but their departure could have an even more lasting impact on the country’s economy.

Wonder how many British tech workers are moving to Russia?

No doubt a welcome acquisition by the Russians, though i'm pretty sure they have comparable weapons themselves.

Most weapons sent to Ukraine will find their way to Russians one way or another. That's normally why you send outdated weapons that you know for an absolute fact your adversary already knows about and won't learn anything new from.

“Russian tech industry trade group estimated that between”

Are you saying the Russian tech industry trade group is publishing bad data?

According to RAEK, a Russian technology trade group, between 50,000 and 70,000 tech workers have already fled Russia, and 70,000 to 100,000 more could leave in April. With flights to the West canceled, they have wended their way to countries where Russian citizens can still travel visa-free.

Konstantin Vinogradov, the London-based Russian-born principal of global VC firm Runa Capital, has teamed up with other industry figures to create a “talent pool” website that helps anti-war technology workers from Russia, Belarus (which is supporting Moscow’s military maneuvers), and Ukraine find suitable jobs elsewhere.

www.wired.com...

The goal of the association is to form in Russia "a civilized information society that will have its own legislation and its ethical codes adopted by both users and participants in the Internet market." One of the key tasks of RAEK is to establish a dialogue between the state and companies operating in the field of information and communication technologies.
List of participants
In 2010, RAEK included 35 companies, including Infox, ITAR-TASS, Kaspersky Lab, Odnoklassniki, RBC, RIA Novosti, ChronoPay, Google, HeadHunter.Ru, Mail.Ru, Rambler, WebMoney, Softkey, Yutinet.Ru, Lognex, uBank and others.
On September 2, 2014, Opera Software announced that the company became part of RAEK. The decision to include Opera Software in the organization was made during a vote on the RAEC Council. Also in September, the international electronic payment provider ASSIST announced its accession to the association.

Why would the Russian trade group lie?

How many tech workers are migrating to Russia by the way?

Tech workers describe detentions and interrogations as they flee Russia

Nik Shevchenko, the 22-year-old chief executive of the startup WeLoveNoCode, also decided to leave Russia. Fearing that martial law would be introduced in Russia, forcing the borders shut, Shevchenko bought a plane ticket to Portugal, where he remains now. “First they close the borders,” Shevchenko said, “and then they force you to kill. I’m fit for military service, unfortunately, but I don’t want to kill innocent people.”

They're going to need a couple of billion more for R&D.

Reason: They can't let other nations reach par with their tech.

I am entertained (daily) by the regular members of this forum who constantly troll your threads.

It used to be just the people who made new accounts to throw stones from.

More laffs for me. Love these threads, Grimpachi. I S&F every one of 'em!!

So you think russia capturing a missile designed 20 years ago, that's at least 25 years older then the best western systems, is somehow significant enough to create yet another daily disposable russian propaganda thread?

In what way?

The biden idiot already lost control of far more significant tech last year anyway.

no, he means that one could become a millionaire by betting that you'll show up in every single thread telling the truth about the situation in ukraine, foaming at your mouth.

Russian propaganda isn’t truth. And ignoring Russian war crimes when acting concerned about war crimes is hypocritical.

&ithching about the west and acting like Putin is something different and better is BS.

Acting like the Russian invasion is something other than Putin monopolizing nature resources and oil is sad.

Most do it to learn, ccp does it to create exact copies (which they usually fail at).

Is anyone here creating new daily disposable Ukrainian propaganda threads?

Why do you think that is?

Why did you just make that ridiculous false claim then?

Yeah. You don't give the people, that "ain't your people",.. stuff. ... To help them with a "problem", ...that ain't your problem.
If they need some ammo and they're kinda your buddy?.. You help where and when, you can.

But you don't give them the key to your "gun room".

Russia ain't lost the war yet. Unless the "leaders" know something we don't?

Maybe you are confused?

Did nyt invade Ukraine to steal land using propaganda lies about nazi weapons labs as their 'justification'?

russia did.

Based on absurd russian propaganda lies.
