Ex-NATO analyst paints a completely different picture of war in Ukraine.

Dutch, video included in the article: www.ninefornews.nl...

English: www.thepostil.com...

Translated from dutch.

The retired Swiss Colonel Jacques Baud has written a lengthy article in which he paints a completely different picture of the war in Ukraine than we are used to. The former NATO analyst helped Ukraine build its army for years. Baud notes that the so-called Russian-backed separatists in Donbass have not been supported in any way by Russia for the past eight years. After the coup in 2014, the Russian-speaking part of the population was attacked by Ukrainian nationalists. In cities like Odessa, Mariupol, Luhansk and Donetsk massacres were carried out by these nationalists. Since then, a civil war has raged in the country. Baud was working as an army analyst for NATO in 2014, when his team discovered that the rebels' weapons were not supplied by Russia, but by Russian-speaking defectors from the Ukrainian armed forces.

There was a massive exodus, after which Baud had to help to improve the image of the Ukrainian army again. This turned out to be a long and arduous process. In the meantime, far-right paramilitary militias that we have heard so much about, including the Azov Battalion, have sprung up. In 2020, 40 percent of the Ukrainian army consisted of these militias, Baud knows. He describes the members as cruel fanatics. They were funded, trained and armed by the United States, Britain, Canada and France. Israel expressed deep concern about the groups as they are highly anti-Semitic. Baud further points out that President Zelensky announced last year that he intended to take Crimea. He sent his troops south. In February, the Ukrainian army began bombing Donbass on a large scale. The former colonel writes that US President Biden announced on February 17 that Russia would attack Ukraine within days. How did he know this? Since February 16, the civilian population of Donbass has been massively bombed by the Ukrainian army. The European Union, media, NATO and Western governments kept their mouths shut.

It seems the European Union and Western countries deliberately didn't say anything about the massacre in Donbass because they knew it would provoke a Russian invasion, the ex-NATO analyst said. He also writes that in January saboteurs with western equipment were caught in Donbass who spoke Polish. They would like to cause incidents with chemical substances in Gorlovka. Baud says Biden knew the massive bombing and acts of sabotage would lead to a Russian invasion. According to him, there are three reasons for this war: the expansion of NATO, refusal of the West to implement the Minsk agreements and the large-scale attacks on the civilian population of Donbass over the past eight years.

This so called war is pointless, why do we as the people of the world let this happen?

Because we don't really have a say at the end of the day. And it doesn't help we keep this two party system rolling. Both typically agree when it comes to foreign policy conflicts.

I'll say it again.

Putin invaded Ukraine. Putin is responsible. Not the United State of America.

And Putin would have his ass kicked if we got involved. Period.

Your complete lack of reading comprehension is showing again. You clearly didn’t read the article. America is mentioned but only in that they assisted along with other western powers in training Ukraine militia.

The OP discusses...as you stated...The west arming the Nazi battalions...plural...40% of the Ukrainian military...
and that Israel even voiced concerns about the antisemitic aspirations of these units...

Publicly or privately?

The IWI rifles have been "sold." IIRC some were manufactured in Ukraine.

Publicly, denying the sale of the Iron Dome and just now talking about sending body armor and aid but no weaponry.

Wonder if that was something the US middle manned because Israel wouldn't do it themselves.

A lot of crap was going on there that has been kept from us. In some cases kept from everyone such as the OSCE helping Ukraine forces target and adjust fire with their monitoring equipment. Guess that neutral observer's stance saying they are only there to investigate was just a cover.

Depends.....how much does Israel like money?

I can tell you that there is a nice supply line network of weapon parts that Israel pays for and the parts are shipped to destinations unknown.

Theyre insulated, plausible deniability.

This is anecdotal however.

"We the people" don't let anything happen. I mean we do, but not on purpose. We're commodities who are useful as a means to an end, the bricks laid in "their" road to innovation and revolution. This war is another road in their map that no one voted for, but we will invest countless tax payer dollars for their success because that's what our representatives consented to.

Fat chance.

Using the US... Around 50% of eligible voters turn up on a good day for presidential elections, and exponentially less for state and local.

Out of that 50%, how many actually keep up with current events past headlines? How many of them read differing sources, especially that of ideologies they disagree with. How many only consume mainstream outlets?

Then look at countries where internet isn't as available or its outright censored.

People will fight with their neighbor over trivial differences before they'd team up with them against corrupt leaders. Every leader has a large base drinking their Kool aid.

We may be in the biggest information Renaissance in human history, but most don't even take advantage of it.

Hopefully more voices join the choir.

This war is a no-win situation for all except the few.

After the coup in 2014, the Russian-speaking part of the population was attacked by Ukrainian nationalists.

Well Dutch natives got attacked above the Donbass , resulting in every one on that plane died.

BUK schrapnel with russian ID numbers was found inside the victims.

Why should i care about people in donbass when they did not gave a damm about dutch citizens left to rot in a field ?
