Citing a small portion of this excellent post from Xcathdra, from the "Russia update" thread.

Speaking of the abandonment of objectivity that is exactly what occurs in the Russian media. Even more so that Putin has closed down independent media / news. If you are a Russian in Russia and you call their "special operation" a "war" (which is exactly what it is, a war, you face upwards of 10+ years in prison... for simply not repeating the propaganda.

Russian decided to invade a sovereign country back in 2014, when they illegally seized Crimea and instigated rebellions on Donetsk / Luhansk. Russia withdrew from the Geneva Convention protocol that deals with killing civilians probably so they can kill as many civilians as they want while thinking they cant be held accountable for their crimes.

So now the population in the East is considered Ukrainian, even though putin states they are Russian because the country of Ukraine doesn't exist even though Putin pushes the genocide lie (which we are still waiting for Russia to provided their evidence of genocide at the UN like they said they would). If you said that in Russia you would be arrested and sent to prison. Trying to label everyone in Ukraine as a "Nazi" or "right wing" is the same bull # Nazi Germany did with the Jews / groups they exterminated. When Putin refers to Ukrainian citizens as something less than Human, he is in fact dehumanizing them. That makes it easier for his forces to slaughter civilians because they become viewed as non human.

Just so you know Putin is between stages #8 and #9 while already laying the groundwork for #10 IE Russia didnt kill civilians, Ukraine did that. Russia had to invade Ukraine because the west was placing Nukes in Ukraine. Russia had to invade Ukraine because its not a country. Russia had to invade Ukraine to protect Russians. Russia had to invade Ukraine because of genocide. Russia had to invade Ukraine because Ukraine was going to invade Russia. Russia had to invade Ukraine because they were attacking russian cities. Russia had to "relocate" Ukrainians to protect Russians.

All Putins actions and excuses are the EXACT same excuses the Nazis used - EXACT.

This is not the first attack on Orthodox churches, sadly I think it will not be the last.

Wherever there was a war, bombing Orthodoxy was a priority target.

Yes, entire monasteries have already been dispersed in Ukraine, monks have been beaten, two bishops have been kidnapped and taken away to an unknown destination. Zelensky submitted to the Rada a law banning the Orthodox Church and the confiscation of all its property, including all churches, monasteries and laurels.

So the planned provocation is in trend in Ukraine.

Clearly, Russia is laying the propaganda groundwork for another one of their false flag operations.

He will never be able to ban Orthodoxy.
Of course, he can seize property, even churches, but I don't know if anyone told him that every Orthodox is a church, he can take buildings, even life, but the spirit of Orthodoxy will not be able to kill, he should know when he lives with Orthodox people.

from your article

"According to the available reliable information, the Kyiv regime, with the support of a number of Western countries, is completing the preparation of sophisticated monstrous provocations with numerous victims in the Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Odessa, Sumy and Kharkiv regions," he said.

With all due respect, if Russia had reliable information, I doubt they would be slogging through this special military operation, or is it now a religious holy war?

Additionally, if this information is coming from sources in-country, and they have been subjected to all the stresses of a 50 plus day invasion, they will pull whatever reason out of their прямая кишка to get help from anybody.

Regardless today's apathy towards any religion in the west, this proclamation is bound to be met by deaf ears and rolling eyes. While I understand the nazi concerns, certainly it has to have been neutralized somewhat by now?

Asked this question to others

So how many innocent non-nazi Ukrainians have to die for Putin/Russia to be satiated. What's the ratio,100 innocents to one Nazi?

ie how many of the 37 million remaining Ukrainians are actually a hard-core nazi threat to the federation of Russia.

Super Power indeed... this is Putin's Crusade his Jihad

What about the fact that Ukraine's proposed law regarding the Church only came after Crimea proposed a similar law banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and nationalizing their assets?

Nobody forbade anything. The head of Crimea only proposed to ban the schismatic church, and the artificially created recently by the United States with the help of the Vatican and Constantinople, an absolutely non-conical organization. But Zelensky has already submitted a bill to ban the ROC in the Rada.

Therefore, that you have not disgraced yourself, I will not ask you for a link to the source.

Previously, Zelensky warned that Putin was going to attack churches on Easter Sunday and Russia warned that Ukraine was going to attack their own churches.
These warnings of false flag psyops should be a warning to the innocent people to stay away from churches on Easter Sunday unless they are willing to die for their faith.
With all these forewarnings there should be a hi tech surveillance type technology that can document this for sure.

I know the west hates religion (the opium of the people) so based on what little I know I would definitely say if this happens it will be planned and staged with the help of the USA and NATO.
BTW, NATO is not some kind of independent state, it represents a group of countries do any acts of aggression staged in a NATO country will make them or all NATO countries subject to military retaliation .

I highly doubt that the Russians would target the orthodox Christian churches. That would cause their own church to go against them. If this does happen, I think it would be the Ukrainian army. It is hard for anyone to know who did it because the Ukrainians have Russian style tanks and equipment and they could easily stage this.....to gain extra money and weapons from the west. Hopefully we have our satelites in position to monitor movement of weapons and watch this event way before hand...I will not believe the Ukrainians description of this event at all and hopefully a lot of the west people will demand that this be monitored truthfully. A snapshot of it happening is not adequate, there has to be observation of movement done to see who is using those weapons. Just because a tank or piece of military equipment has a Z on it does not mean Russians are shooting the weapons.

Of course, NATO and some in the west pushing this war are going to say it is Russians if it happens no matter who bombs the places. Just like the missile that had this is for the children written on it that hit the train station, I doubt if the Russians launched that missile. The people running Ukraine are not nice people, but most of their citizens are. Targeting those churches targets people who could adapt to the Russians through the church. I believe that if it happens it will have been done by some Ukrainian army units that are extremely loyal to their government or some of the mercenary groups tied to the Ukrainian leadership.

That would be my opinion and it will not change if I see it on NBC if they say it was a Russian attack.

He also said that he had already instructed to develop a draft federal law to ban the "Orthodox Church of Ukraine."

I don't know enough about the Orthodox church to get into the specifics of this but from my understanding, the fact that the OCU is recognized by the Ecumenical Patriarch makes it a legitimate Eastern Orthodox Church.

Orthodoxy is not the Vatican. We do not have a head, a pope, we have all the local churches equal.
Therefore, the opinion of Bartholomew is nothing more than a simple opinion

Once again, not an expert on Orthodoxy, but it looks to me that gre Russian Orthodox Church is the only church that doesn't acknowledge the Ecumenical Patriarchate's authority to grant autocephaly.

You are wrong. There are 15 local Orthodox churches in canonical communion. And the vast majority of them do not support Bartholomew's aspiration to become an "Orthodox pope." In the same churches (mainly where the patriarchs are Greeks), Bartholomew was supported, entire parishes are en masse moving under the omophorion of the Russian Orthodox Church (for example, Africa).

I shouldn't be surprised...but I am.

Satanists?
Non-humans?
Nazism?
Paganism?

FFS man, you used to have so much credibility around here.

Just a desperate attempt to justify more killing.
Sounds like Armed Militia operating as Death Squads to me.

Although Russia may think about it and start supplying lethal weapons, including heavy weapons, to Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Texas, Alaska and the list goes on.

Ha ha....try it.
If they're of the quality you're using in Ukraine they'll probably do more damage to those using them.

You know there's a massive difference between those countries/states and Ukraine....but you keep on repeating that nonsense because you think you might provoke an angry response - you won't - instead you just make yourself look incredibly ignorant.

Forgot about Argentina. When will Britain end its occupation of the Falkland Islands?

Probably when or if the Falkland Islanders ever decide they wish to be independent or something....not going to happen anytime soon.

You used to be much better than this.

By the way, the swear language in which you wrote me a comment is the language of demons. Therefore, I conclude that you are demon-possessed.

Quite ironic considering most of the militias Russia will be getting to operate as Death Squads are themselves Neo-Nazi's.
But no surprise there, Putin has been arming and funding them in Donbas for quite some time now.

If you are alluding to what I think you are then it is a very old English word which is incredibly common in spoken English and has absolutely nothing to do with paranoid, imagined 'Demon possession'.

"The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, has not said a word against Russian aggression. . . . His Church’s systematic propaganda campaign about Ukraine has been utilised in Putin’s justification for war.”—EUobserver, March 7, 2022.

“Patriarch Kirill . . . has sent his strongest signal yet justifying his country’s invasion of Ukraine—describing the conflict as part of a struggle against sin.”—AP News, March 8, 2022.

“Ukrainian Orthodox Church leader, Metropolitan Epiphanius I of Kyiv, on Monday blessed his people to ‘fight against the Russian invaders’ . . . [He] also stated that killing Russian soldiers isn’t a sin.”—Jerusalem Post, March 16, 2022.

“We [the Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations (UCCRO)] support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and all our defenders, we bless them in their defense of Ukraine from the aggressor, and offer our prayers for them.”—UCCRO * Statement, February 24, 2022.

Jesus said: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:39) “Continue to love your enemies.”—Matthew 5:44-47.

He also said: “My Kingdom is no part of this world. If my Kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be handed over.” (John 18:36) “All those who take up the sword will perish by the sword.”—Matthew 26:47-52.

The Bible teaches that God rejects religions that claim to represent Jesus yet do not follow his teachings.—Matthew 7:21-23; Titus 1:16.

The book of Revelation shows that God holds such religions responsible for the deaths “of all those who have been slaughtered on the earth.” (Revelation 18:21, 24)

Jesus indicated that all religions rejected by God will be destroyed for their bad works, just as a rotten tree producing rotten fruit “is cut down and thrown into the fire.” (Matthew 7:15-20)
