OK, thank you. I didn't mean to be jerk, if I came across like one. It is just our circle has seen a lot of Covid illness, hospitalizations, and some death. I get irritated when people make light of it, because I have seen first hand what it is capable of.

I have family all over the U.S. Covid hit the family I have in Iowa and Illinois hard. I also know 2 people both unvaxed who developed blood clots. I was told by an ATS user the odds of that are "Astronomical", like I was making it up. I wasn't, and it's true. I hate Covid, but will not live in fear. I hope the strains, become less and less severe. That seems to be the trend now.

I don't fear either the vaccine or virus, so I do what makes sense to me being 62.

It's too bad Congress and the White House exempted themselves from the Vaccine. Probably most Hollywood types did too, after seeing top government officials steer clear.

If a couple relatively young well-known people in Congress or the White House or Hollywood were to keel over, "awareness" would skyrocket.

But so would violence and riots and panic.

As I said I'm not defending the vaccine as much as pushing back on the fear porn with it so many seem to push as part of their I don't want it attitude, GREAT you do not want it, that doesn't mean everyone should have that same attitude.

As an RN here in America at a major hospital we aren't seeing this.

I think it’s hilarious that some egos on ATS are so big they still can’t admit they were wrong about the vaccine. We all know it has adverse effects and does nothing to help with the virus. The gig is up and it’s time to stop making fools out of yourselves.

I just had COVID after visiting Spain and it was pretty hard for 2 days and on day 3 I was feeling better, I will say the vaccine worked as I really didn't want to be sick for 8+ days like is the case with many unvacced my age, or even worst, so I'll mark just 2 days a vaccine win.

Hmm went to the hospital yesterday to get some blood work and the place was a ghost town... You sure its the jab? Why not everywhere then?

last 2 times the whole place was dead too.

On Monday l went to the Medical University hospital for some business. The lobby where people pay their bills must have had over 250 people in it.
The area around the mental health clinic and eye clinic were jammed packed and standind lines in the hallways.
Something l did notice was that most people looked healthy

I just checked out hospitalization rates for our local regional hospital. It is at 91% capacity. But out of the over 850 patients only 47 have COVID. This rate is higher than many of the days when COVID patients made up 200-300 of the inpatients.

I have been visiting a female relative who just had her lower leg amputated below the knee and that section is packed with people who have had amputations both male and female ,most rooms have 8 beds in them , it was waiting to see my aunt that I noticed the males in wheelchairs with amputations they looked healthy normal guys minus a leg or two ? ,This is a city of 80k there was just to many people in that section for my liking.

A couple of months ago my doctor quickly ushered me out of a visit when I showed him how a magnet was picking up a penacillin capsule ditto a pharmacist at my local chemist shop totally walked away when I quizzed him why a gelatin capsule would be magnetic even when dissolved in water there is a small sludge in the glass that is magnetic,Me thinks I hit a nerve with that one as those 2 individuals reactions were not normal , anyone with Flufloxacillin ! In capsule form try that one at home
