Ah yes the always entertaining ATS nonhostile hijacking of a thread, this one already has HOF potential.

Interesting research showing that the majority of twitter accounts are bots created to divide us.

As is typically the case with many posters currently on ATS either via honest mistake or willful choice you didn't accurately report something from a source.

Your statement above is , "

Interesting research showing that the majority of twitter accounts are bots created to divide us."

The actual statement ,

Researchers: Nearly Half Of Accounts Tweeting About Coronavirus Are Likely Bots

You effectively left out the key part where the whole article you linked is talking Twitter accounts in regards to COVID only and not in a more generic general sense.

I was watching the show Yellowstone and noticed that there are no TVs in the bunkhouse, John's house, or the cabin

In one episode when John was handing over his bedroom to Kacey and Monica, he told them there was a TV at the foot of the bed that popped up when a button on the remote was pressed, but he didn't have a clue where the remote was.

That show has level upon level of meaning and lessons to learn. One of the best shows ever, imo. Taylor Sheridan is an amazing writer.

Yes of course we can survive but there is more to life than survival. There is art, entertainment, music, etc.
A lot of those things would not be available without technology.

Of course there was art and entertainment and music and so on before technology.

Are man buns gluten-free?

Probably NOT

I have friends that are gluten sensitive and gluten intolerant and heard that shampoos/conditioners and hair care products can have a lot of gluten in them.

And yet my Family uses Einkorn Wheat it is the most ancient wheat and their gluten intolerance no more an issue.

Yeah, I miss the good old days when you had to schlep around with or actually mail a document to get someone to sign it.

Or paying with checks, that's a quaintness that's not underrated.

Or physically going to a store that may be hundreds of miles away to get their product.

Or calling some nitwit at customer service instead of just getting it done myself.

I also miss Blockbuster. Rewinding was a joy.

I have not seen the show, we don't watch TV

Would we as a society be better off without television, social media, ext.?

Yes

People don't realize how interactive People used to be, singing and telling stories and writing instead of staring at someone else creations they were the creators.

The Families played games together instead of watching them, I still remember the joy it brought to childhood.

Creativeness, when someone needed something they found ways to make it. Beautiful furniture and foods with real fresh ingredients.

No need to worry about an EMP either!

Indeed there was. In Yellowstone, just the scenery itself is art. And, there is nothing more entertaining than a topnotch rodeo with beautiful horses that are worth millions of dollars being ridden by topnotch professional cowboys/girls. I have seen some high dollar horses up close and personal and they will take your breath away!

People can also choose to not partake in anything modern. I am 100% never a fan of reducing choices for people and by eliminating anything you are doing just that.

I know personal accountability is a foreign concept to a lot of people nowadays but no one made me log on to the Internet, no one made me choose a career driven by technology, no one made someone drink a beer, shoot a drug, gamble their rent money away or smoke a cigarette.

I love lanais. Look crazy but are so amazing.

Everywhere has a version of the same thing, I can't see why you would think it looks crazy, it is just a sunroom or a glassed in porch as they would say here.

We have a couple TVs in my house but haven't had "TV" for a long time. No off-air antenna, no cable, no satellite TV. We have high speed internet through our phone service. We do have a couple internet services, Prime Video, HBO Max, and Apple TV. And we have those because my son and his girlfriend share them with us.

I haven't seen commercials in a long time. And we are very picky on what we watch. We probably watch an hour, at most, of TV a day in my house, if that. It's a far cry from when I was a kid and the "boob tube" was always on. And we'd spend hours a day watching it in our household.

I used to game a little, don't even do that much anymore either. Just so many other things to do. My wife and I run our own company cleaning Condos on the beach. We have a really laid back, stress-free life. And I like it like that.

When we get up we like to start our morning by listening to songs/music and a morning worship talk from JW.ORG. And I have my regular YouTubers I watch. I probably watch more YouTube than anything.

Point is, we choose and filter everything that is watched in the house. Half the time when our TV/s are on it's probably just playing some concert or music videos from YouTube in the background while we go about our daily lives.

No argument from me on anything in YSNP as I have crossed , back country hiked , stayed at and around the park 9 times total. It's truly the one place on this planet where i can find solace, solitude and quiet. The surrounding Bozeman , for personal reasons, area is where I am going to retire when I am done my professional career.

Oddly enough the first 3 seasons of Yellowstone were primarily filmed in Utah with the 4th being the one that films in Montana.

There is nothing more entertaining that a rodeo to you, to me it holds no entertainment value and is not something I am interested in as different people like different things. I am glad they bring you joy though, the world needs more of that now.

Actually the words you were looking for are 'misplaced nostalgia'. Should we give up automobiles and go back to riding horsies because of laziness? How about whale oil for light? Like your indoor plumbing, wanna crap outside in the cold instead?
