It is terrible for Russian citizens, but all this proves is the sanctions are hurting. I mean they invaded their neighbors. They arent the good guys. Maybe neither is ukraine, but why cant they run their country how they see fit. Putin made his choice knowing the west would do this. They threatened nuclear war if we attacked in any way. So they're getting cut off instead from the outside world.
