The United States killed over 80,000 innocent women and children in Japan over a 5-day period.

Remember that the next time you hear our media and politicians and experts, talk about war crimes in ukraine.

This is called whataboutism.

It's also called "self loathing hand wringing?

And "off topic".

He said what a lot of us are thinking.

Indeed he did and it is to those who are thinking these things that this speech was directed. It's him attempting to paint himself as a hero, as a fighter against the globalists.

Accept ME as a fighter for YOUR cause. Accept Me, a lowly guy who loves his country and the down trodden. Never mind that I"m a filthy rich billionaire.....

sure. How exactly is that relevant? Does it excuse all future war crimes? Does it mean Putin can act with impunity?

Or are the Putin apologists just following his lead and deflecting?

Be honest.

"Putin would make a better leader of the United States than Joe Biden is. No doubt about that."

Only if you want an extreme right wing dictator who would stamp down on dissent, do away with your freedoms and rule you with an iron authoritarian fist.

Perhaps you might like that sort of thing?

Remember, you’re responding to a guy who advocates jailing media members in America.

The most common was "Don't buy at Jewish stores" and "Kill the Jews".

Well I would say that Western Media crossed at least the first line already. Death threats against Russians fly on social media, unpunished and accepted.

Chirp, chirp, chirp. Just do it, then. Make us pay. Prove it's not a charade. The gum flapping has to stop. Swing, or go back to your hole...Prancing and threatening on the edge of everyones' frayed mental health - in hopes of whatever it is... Like for real. We're all tired. $hit or get off the pot.

He may just do it. This isn't some third worlder talking crazy..Im afraid this newest little 800 million is going to be the litmus test...so far he hasn't backed down, actually the opposite..but Im with You..nothing between us but air and opportunity, and I just used all the air to say that..Your turn tough guy.

No, but it points out the hypocrisy by the Western MSM, wouldn't you agree? And maybe that's important currently when numbers are exaggerated from 2000 death a day to smaller than 600 deaths from 24.02 to 12.02.2022 on one day is the media claim but the UN says smaller than 600.

"Putin apologists". First, I am bisexual and you now can maybe grasp what I think about him really. BUT. I also see what we, Europe and the US are doing in Ukraine. Ukraine announced to go nuclear, with the help of the EU mostly. Of course Russia has to act.

How would any US President react if that exact same thing was done in... let's say Cuba while Cuban citizen with US ties have faced violence and war for 8 years from the Cuban government. And Russia is helping Cuba figuring out nukes.

Be honest.

Putin is the very definition of a ruling elite. He's a 20 year autocrat surrounded by sychophantic yes men and plutocratic oligarchs whom all solely rely on him to stay in power.

Putin’s governing authority is pretty transparent, at least in a sense of what you see is what you get style governance.

The governing authority of the west, particularly the US, is rife with obfuscation. On the surface we see those that are elected into positions of government, likewise we are shown in our television news media that these elected politicians are responsible for the goings on in the US, whether good or bad. But the real governing authority prefers to remain unseen & hidden. Corporations, central bankers, & lobbying think tanks are the ones that are, in fact, dictating policy.

This is a stark contrast in comparison to Putin, who’s actions and authority are on display for the world to see.

And so in that regard, he is not a ruling elite.

Just because his is an in your face multi-decade autocrat doesn't make him any less of a ruling elite. He is the de facto head of all things Russia, all power is consolidated with him. I'd say he has even more domestic control than Xi who at least has to go to his own party to get reelected. Putin just has to say, 'Nyet, try again'.

I would say he has a point IF he wasn't the one to start it all off with a full invasion, AND if Russia wasn't run by a dictator and crime bosses called oligarchs.

It is 100% true the west is attacking him many which ways outside of physical war, so what? He invaded...lol

Putin is playing the old Russian play book of deflection.

The entire premise of this “point” is flawed and completely irrelevant to the topic.

Congratulation on your sexuality. You are still apologizing for Putin.

Seriously? He also said this today about his own people.

“Any people, and particularly the Russian people, will always be able to tell apart the patriots from the scum and traitors and spit them out like a midge that accidentally flew into their mouths,” Putin said.He went further: “I am convinced that this natural and necessary self-cleansing of society will only strengthen our country, our solidarity, cohesion and readiness to meet any challenge.”

Self cleansing? I imagine you have a whole group you'd like to "self cleanse" out of the U.S.

We have this thing now called the internet, so the days of Goverment propaganda films in theaters is so yesterday. I don't think Putin knows that yet...

Maybe if Russia hasn't been fighting Ukraine for 8 years through a proxy war and then invaded them outright, yes things would be different. Do you think Russia deserves everything that is going to happen too?
