Lab leak was debunked when it was found that there were two Proto-Covid19 virus in circulation. Meaning that it evolved naturally and mutated several times before getting to Wuhan.

Yes, yes I can. This is actually one of the easier parts of the pandemic to deal with because it fits a pretty mundane pattern.

We started out with a bat virus, 5 or 6 years ago. This virus spread among various bat populations in central southern China up to Central China for several years without being noticed because it couldn't infect humans at this time. It then spread to an intermediate species. For example, pigs, where it either mutated into a form that could infect humans through random mutation, or it came into contact with another virus that could infect both humans and whatever animal it was, and gained the ability to infect humans through recombination (Brief explanation)

We know that there were two core variants of the virus at this time due to samples taken in the area around Wuhan, which is how we know that it didn't escape from a lab.

The virus then spread among local towns but didn't get recorded because it kills fewer than 1.3% of all people that it infects. Which in a small town is maybe a couple of grandparents. And this would have been during flu season so Covid could easily have infected people without authorities becoming aware.

It then spread to the wet market in Wuhan, where it turned into a super spreader event. But local authorities covered it up because they were afraid of being blamed. They tired to contain and you know the rest.

Wow, using the NIH as a source, the same NIH that redacts nearly every page of correspondence they had about the WIV when they are forced to release it via FOIA.

I trust them like I trust the CDC who just admitted they haven't released data because it might look bad.

It was 5-6 years ago. That's a completely believable time frame.

The lab leak was debunked when it was discovered that there were several proto-covid19 naturally circulating in the environment.

This shows that the virus came from outside of Wuhan and then triggered a super-spreader event. It didn't originate there, otherwise the proto-virus would be found in Wuhan and then radiate outwards.

By Proto-Virus, I mean the ancestor of Covid-19. Something that would eventually mutate into it.

You are looking for correlations and they are easy to see after the fact, but it doesn't make it a causation too.

There is a difference between lab leak and lab created... I don't see why it could not have been in the lab and then leaked due to incompetence.

The lab Leak may have been debunked in your head, but nowhere else. The kung flu came from the Wuhan lab. This isn’t even debatable anymore, it did.

They openly admit to studying all the bats and their viruses - But where did they study them - in the cave or back at the lab in Wuhan?


What do the virologists do in these labs?
Go to the cave get a sample - test it - no bad mutation all good. Back to the cave and get another sample?

You don't believe a lab leak could have happened, even when there is evidence of lab leaks handling deadly viruses happening before. Which in it self is anti-science and does follow any statistical sense.

If it had been leaked form the lab then Wuhan would have been ground zero, and you would see patterns of infection spreading out from the city.

What we're instead seeing is that there were two strains already circulating in the wild prior to the wet market incident. This means that it came from outside of Wuhan, mutated outside of Wuhan and then infected Wuhan. So unless the lab leaked the virus months earlier and miles away, it wasn't a lab leak at all.

Except the link in my earlier comment demonstrates that it had already split into several variants before entering Wuhan. Which means tat Wuhan couldn't have been the origin.

If it were fraud, you'd think that other scientists would have picked up on it and blown the whistle. And by scientists I don't mean alternative healers and people peddling doom porn for clicks.

If you think that there is massive fraud, then by all means demonstrate it. Fraud on this scale would require a trillion dollar money trail. Can you show me where it starts, or where it ends, or even find any evidence of who retrieved it?
