Actually, I was speaking from personal experience. I was constantly preached at by my Evangelical relatives who were mainly interested in control, not salvation. Their spiritual arrogance and holier than thou attitudes completely ignored....

"What would Jesus do" and filled the atmosphere with racism, hatred and criticism of anyone not a Southern Baptist; especially Jews and Catholics.

Really nice post you've put together here. I haven't gone through everything yet but I plan to.
I only know very little about shrooms but I do see the potential and have heard about it being used to try and treat schizophrenia. Though I'm pretty sure this was kinda "off the books" as it hasn't been approved. I don't know what the results were sadly.
I do think there's a lot of potential in using these shrooms and I think medical professionals are very slowly beginning to at least consider this potential.
Personally I've also had some bouts with depression and I am sorry about your son. Although it is very cool that you seem so engaged in helping him!
