Not a hard one to answer. Previous to being #45, he was a money hungry egomaniac who would pay for spots in commercials and movies. He ran a corporation that relied on shady backroom deals, was notorious for treating his staff poorly and constantly craved attention. He represented everything I hate about corporate America because he was corporate America. In addition to that, he exuded an almost desperate need for attention, constantly trying to reassert himself into the public eye and make himself relevant in any setting, from TV to tweets about behaviors to even politics.

All right this isn't so much a breaking happening now thing as it is a curious phenomena I've noticed. I've noticed all over across all political spectrums, and it is something I cannot explain.
I'll start by saying that I never really liked Obama. OK, let me qualify that ... Obama personally seemed like he could be charming enough, but over the course of his presidency, I agreed with almost nothing he did as a president, and the one thing he could have done positive that might have made a huge difference by presenting an intact black family to a nation full of broken families, he chose not to do in favor of pushing wokeness and racial strife.
But, Obama is gone and no longer president. Except for those times when there is a relevant comparison to be made, I no longer really bring him up. I do it now to illustrate my point on Trump.
People who hated Trump seem to not be able to let it go. It almost seems that no matter what topic we're discussing, they will bring Trump up. And this isn't just leftists. I've observed it in people ostensibly on the right side of the political spectrum too. I understand not really liking Trump personally. He was abrasive. I didn't really like him, but I have a hard time understanding how you can conceive such a deep, visceral loathing of him that you have to turn every conversation into an opportunity to vent that loathing, even now, even when the topic has nothing at all to do with him or anything he really did in his turn in office.
I don't understand it. I may never understand it, but I think perhaps it's time to let it go. I'm not telling you to forget the policies you disliked. I haven't forgotten the policies Obama pushed that have hurt me and others in various ways, but I'm also not losing sleep over it, not hating people who liked Obama because of it, and not venting sheer visceral hatred of Obama into every single thing I do because of it. Obama is done even if the policies of his presidency linger. The same is true of Trump. Let it go. The country and your countrymen will be better when you do.

I could say the same about the Clintons having lived in the area around Arkansas.
Go ahead, say it, they lived here too unfortunately. It still doesn't make Trump any less of a self-promoting douche.

And what baffles me is he has been the same douche since anyone knew his name, yet folks seems surprised by his actions.

The more they hate him the bigger the disappointment every time they lose a battle. I thoroughly enjoy watching their suffering.
