That is your response to one on the most important aspects of preventing disease and sickness by PPE is having a safe waste steam for disposal,

You are total ignorant in the world of PPE and it’s safe handling. No wonder you will believe any propaganda.

Despite what you post. Covid is still here and spreading. Evidently masks and mask mandates are failures.

Agai does something only work if it's 100% effective.

The studies show they do work.

That's kind of the point.

How do cheap masks that don’t seal with a matrix with holes too large to stop the virus, and not made to lock in moisture for hour after hour, and not made to be worn during physical activity control covid.

This has been covered over and over again.

At some point it becomes your inability or unwillingness to understand.

The point of lockdowns and mask mandates was zero covid.

'Zero Covid' strategies are being abandoned as the highly infectious delta variant dominates

So, no. They were not effective for why they were invoked.

In the real world. PPE is used as a lost resort, after a hazard cannot be controlled through engineering controls. How many businesses require masks, but never upgraded there air handling systems to handle virus loading? I would think that would be part of the covid and infrastructure bills?

What a F’n joke.

Then why the push to double mask if masks were effective.

Sorry. Your the one that cannot grasp when and why masks are effective.

Again. First step to wearing an effective mask.

Medical Clearance and Fit-test Procedures for N95 Masks – COVID-19

oshareview.com...

As part of the respiratory protection requirements, employees must be medically cleared to don a tight-fitting respirator, which includes surgical N95 masks, and the mask must be fit tested to the user. This article details the medical clearance and fit-test procedures.

Medical Clearance

Wearing a respirator can put an extra burden on the body. People with underlying medical conditions may put themselves at risk if they work while wearing one. Therefore, Cal/OSHA requires a medical evaluation before any employee can wear a respirator. There are three steps to the respirator medical clearance:

Provide mask users with a confidential medical clearance questionnaire (Appendix B to Cal/OSHA’s ATD Standard), which must be reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider (LHP).
Depending on the results of the questionnaire, the LHP will either clear the employee for N95 use with no restrictions or refer the employee to a follow-up, in-person medical evaluation.
If an in-person evaluation is indicated, then following the evaluation, the employee is cleared for respirator use with no restrictions, cleared with restrictions, or isn’t cleared for any respirator usage.

The piece of $hit masks most people wear don’t do crap

It just shows you haven’t seriously had to rely non a mask for your health and well-being before covid. Or willing to white wash to push a false narrative.

Who ever said that masks would mean zero covid?

I will happily agree anyone saying that is an idiot.

Mask mandates didn't specify what type of mask to be worn, that was left up to the individual, what they felt was comfortable, and what they could afford.

Some people just put a bandana over their mouth, but that was still better than nothing even if it offered them maybe 10% additional protection.

I'd love it if everybody was wearing a high quality mask with a cartridge filter, but asking everybody to spend out $50-$100 (Plus a price gouging premium) ain't on the cards. People can't afford them, people won't wear them, and we frankly don't have the facilities to manufacture them.

That's a disclaimer. They have to put them on the box because they haven't been certified.

What they do is to "reduce" the risk of infection.

Even a 10% reduction in covid is still potentially thousands of lives saved nationally.

Don't look at me, I've got an hermetically sealed mask with a dual lock cartridge filter. It's good for covid, teargas, and most forms of nerve gas stockpiled by our enemies.

It's not my fault if other people choose to strap a doily to their face.

Lets go back to the beginning of the covid lockdown, lots of small business where out of luck and about to lose their business, soo Trump gave incentive for people to start making medical items, in the US, mask, sanitizers scrubs anything medical

Soo when people started to get tired of the masks, all this business once again were about to lose their littler investments.

So they needed to keep selling mask and sanitizers for the people.

Plus, China, India and other countries that sold this crap to the US were also about to lose their profits.

There you have it, this is why mask needs to keep been a seller,

I have not bought a mask in almost a year.

You

Mask mandates didn't specify what type of mask to be worn, that was left up to the individual, what they felt was comfortable, and what they could afford.

What “masks” are used in you propaganda. And are they actually reflective of what most US citizen wear?

And for a mask to be “effective” for filtering in and out. It has to be properly fitted. Properly sealed. Do people wear the mask as designed and for property activity. And have the right filter medium.

For your mask.

It doesn’t matter if it is a “hermetically sealed mask” Was it properly fitted tested and doesn’t seal against your skin. Does it fog up your glasses / sun glasses when you breathe? In fact I have never seen the term “hermetically sealed mask” in industry before.

Can you please provide the make and model for your mask. How long do you wear your mask vs how long it is recommended to wear the mask. What activities is the mask rated for. What is the filter media rated for when it comes to filtering? And particle size?

If the mask is passing air so you can breath, it’s not “ hermetically sealed”.

A hermetic seal is any type of sealing that makes a given object airtight (preventing the passage of air, oxygen, or other gases).
