Kari Lake War Room
@KariLakeWarRoom

💣 Huge🐚

@KariLake Expert Signature Verification witness finds that Maricopa County verifiers "compared" roughly 70,000 signatures in less than 2 seconds.

Liz Harrington
@realLizUSA

I’ve never heard more “objections” in my life, Hobbs and Maricopa County are scared of @KariLake ’s evidence!

-----------------------------------------

They just took another recess for the court reporter. Back in five minutes.

Oh my... is the defense attorney and Rey Valenzuela actually trying to set up an "empty ballot envelope" defense to suggest we can't be sure illegal votes were counted because we can't be sure there were actually ballots in those envelope???

Maybe not... but it sure sounds like it to me. Wow!

Team Kari has rested their case, the judge has denied the defense's motion to dismiss (I think it was called a directed verdict, but basically a motion to dismiss), and the defense is now presenting their case. Rey Valenzuela, Maricopa County Election Official, is on the stand again.
----------------------------------------

Another tidbits --

Kari Lake War Room @KariLakeWarRoom Expert on if it's possible for Maricopa County to actually be comparing signatures. "That's my point. It's not. It would be like thumbing through this opinion and saying I just read it... The simple fact is that no one can read it that fast... The answer is you didn't read it."

----------------------------------------

Well, I got interrupted and missed the last of today's proceedings. Nothing exciting was happening before that, hopefully not much happened after.

I've gotta be honest, I wasn't impressed with Team Kari today. Why didn't Team Kari show the actual mismatched signatures in court? Maybe there's some legal reason for it, but I don't understand it.

At the same time, we've already seen enough to know that the election violated laws and protocols which necessarily makes the outcome uncertain. Which is the legal precedent for a new trial, but the judge doesn't seem to want to respect that legal and lawful Supreme Court precedent.

So until tomorrow...

Yea, again not impressed. They need to highlight this witnesses 20 years of issues that goes with his experience.

Yeah, I got the feeling they were trying to focus on process as a continuation of their misrepresentating Kari's claims as absolutely no signature verification was performed whatsoever at all... rather than the actual allegation that proper signature verification was not consistently performed.

Yea, again not impressed. They need to highlight this witnesses 20 years of issues that goes with his experience.

When Valenzuela was on the stand this morning, Team Kari was asking him about the nature of his relationship with a woman that was somehow involved in the election process, and the defense objected (sustained) right quick. The attorney backed right off.

Maybe cross will be more interesting.

A poetic moment happend. During closing for the defense, the court stream froze, last phrase uttered, "...failed."

Which goes to show exactly how thing in that county "work."

I'm just doing a quick and dirty update for now. I might have a torn rotator cuff, and it hurts like hell! So forgive me for taking the easy way out. It's the best I can do for now.

So, closing arguments were given after the lunch break. It's in the judge's hands now. Here's one summary from Western Journalism:

Lake Attorney's Closing Argument: At Least 70K Votes Not Verified, Election Must Be Set Aside

I don't expect the judge to rule in Kari's favor. I don't know if she can appeal this ruling to the Supreme Court. If Kari does win, I have no doubt that the defendants will appeal.

Governor Hobbs Thumbs Nose at Election Integrity and American Manufacturing

The integrity of our electoral process is vital to maintaining the foundations of democracy. Reliable and secure voting machines play a crucial role in the faith, trust, and confidence of our elections. Knowing and understanding this, the Arizona Legislature just passed H.B. 2613, which would have mandated voting machines used in state elections be made in America. Furthermore, this legislation would have required all those voting machines to have 100% of their parts and components sourced and assembled in the U.S.

Unfortunately for the people of Arizona, Governor Hobbs vetoed the legislation. In doing so, she turned her back on American manufacturing and election integrity.

-----------------------------------------

Last but not least, this was retweeted by Kari, and looks important, but my brain is too foggy to make much sense of it right now --

Jonathan @DecentFiJC In today’s episode of “How Cloudflare Works™️” —

We now officially know what they meant when they said “Kari lost the election because she pissed off McCain voters”.

They meant “UN globalists” and “those seeking to corner the markets in oil, natural gas, water and energy.”

So what does that mean for the ongoing election lawsuits in Arizona? It means you must set aside the 2022 gubernatorial election. Period. Because it’s not simply a matter of the election results being uncertain anymore.

In fact, it’s now becoming evident that Maricopa’s own elections officials actually invited (and fomented) foreign interference within Arizona’s elections themselves.[.b]

🫢

He goes on to show (with screenshots of I'm not sure what documents) that several organizations were given access to election records, before-during-after the election, up through Kari's trials. One organization in particular is chaired by Cindy McCain (John McCain's widow).

Well, we sure can't rule it out, eh? We know why a foreign company might want to sell us machines, and not necessarily just for $$. But they might have to convince the one signing the checks with a little extra incentive...

Me too! She's fighting a good fight, and she's already made it possible for soooooooo much information to be exposed, and to be in official court records. To that extent, we've already won.

Welcome to ATS!

If I'm not mistaken, that law would have held Arizona elections to DOD standards, which includes US made equipment, as one of many standards to be adhered to.

If I was to play devil's advocate, I would say that it might be difficult to source only US made electronic devices.

Knowing what I know of Arizona's lack of election integrity, I would guess that Hobbs and people like her, like their elections flimsy.

Yeah, just like the retweet I posted above about foreign interference -- did you see it? Cindy McCain made a big deal of endorsing Katie Hobbs before the election. It was truly vomit worthy.

These people have no integrity. But they sure think mightily of themselves.

I meant election integrity, not voter integrity.

Nothing against Arizona's voters.

If anything, many of them should be commended for doing things like coming forward about malfeasance and volunteering their time and energy in accomplishing the country's first full forensic election audit.

Liz Cheney is 100% ego. She lost her Congressional race by a huge margin, but believes it was the people of Wyoming's fault. Diane Feinstein keeps yelling at people who suggest she step down. Joe Biden yells at aides when they rush him. Being SICK and having a HUGE EGO, really makes politicians annoying.

Last week the AZ Senate passed a bill that would have prohibited electronic election machines that were not manufactured in the USA with domestic parts. Katie Hobbs vetoed the bill.

This morning, the AZ Senate exercised its Constitutional plenary powers to unilaterally order ALL counties in the state to cease using any electronic machines not manufactured in the US with domestic parts.

They have further required (if any electronic machine is used) --

b) the source code for the voting system is open source and the source code used in any computerized voting machine for federal elections is made available for the public; and

c) the ballot images and system log files from each tabulator are recorded on a secure write- once, read-many media with a clear chain of custody and posted on the SOS's website free of charge to the public within 24 hours after the polls close.

Arizona State Senate

Of course lawsuits will be filed... so this isn't the end of it... but I sure love the beginning!

ETA: You can read the letter sent to the counties at Senator Wendy Rogers Twitter.

Gateway Pundit is now reporting on the AZ Senate's move to ban electronic machines --

JUST IN: AZ State Senator Borrelli Throws Down The Gauntlet, ORDERS County Supervisors to Comply With SCR1037 Which Bans Foreign Voting Machines in Arizona

I found one other source reporting -- The Daily Independent, which I'm not familiar with -- but it's behind a paywall. Judging by the title tho, they aren't too happy about it!

Arizona Republican leader tries to force U.S.-made voting machines in letter

Claims resolution holds weight in forcing county clerks to change machines used in ballot counting

The No. 2 Republican in the state senate is telling county election officials they cannot use electronic equipment to cast, record and tabulate ballots unless it is manufactured and assembled in the United States — something not currently available.

Is this the way forward? Depending on how the inevitable court cases play out, other states may follow suit.

Well, here it is:

JUST-IN: Judge Tosses Kari Lake’s Lawsuit After Trial on Fraudulent Signature Verification Shows AT LEAST 274,000 Ballots Were Verified in Less Than 3 Seconds – ORDER INCLUDED

The new Minute Entry states, “rather than trying to cast doubt on a specific number of ballots (a herculean evidentiary endeavor in these circumstances), she attempts to prove that the signature review process for Maricopa County was not conducted pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-550(A) or the EPM.”

Despite the evidence, Maricopa County attorneys and the Judge disregarded the employees who did not follow the law. Instead, they claimed the testimony of Lake’s witnesses — signature verification workers who chose to follow the law — proved that the mail-in ballot system is secure.

Judge Thompson opines, “Ms. Onigkeit’s testimony makes abundantly clear that level one and level two signature review did take place in some fashion.”

So apparently the judge thinks that because some (perhaps or probably even most) election workers did their job correctly, the judge is going to let the cheaters hide behind them. Okay. Got it.

Kari Lake is expected to appeal this ruling again all the way to the Arizona Supreme Court.

And so it continues...
