Try and keep cool. You're in the right place, try and relax and let them do their work. hoping you have a speedy recovery with no after affects.

Just wanted to drop by and let you know that the same thing happened to me about 10 years ago now - multiple clots on both lungs and ended up in ICU.
I know how scary it is as you lay there wondering if the next breath you take is going to be your last and the endless arterial bloods at all hours of the day.

You will get through it and life will return to normal, just try to take it one day at a time !

Surprised you were allowed to use internet in the icu. My last hospital stay was for a stroke and I had to bust out of the ward to even go out to smoke a J.

Well, still alive!! Getting better, at least thats what they are saying. I was supposed to get sent to General Population this morning, but I'm still in Supermax (ICU) tonight.

Cops and surgeons just drug in a 'holey' informant to the cell next to mine. Only reason I know this is because of the five cops on their cellphones right outside my door. That, and all they guys running around with guns. Guess the guy got shot in the eye among other locations. They're all worried if he's gonna be able to testify. Bangers put a hit on him.

HA!!!...YES ACTUALLY!! It was mandatory!!!

And I had taken a shower earlier too, but didn't matter. Nothing quite like a room temp baby-wipe bath by Rosie O'Donnell sister!

I'll tell ya what, facing death dead-square in the eye like that will scare a fella pretty good!

And, the fact you don't get s clear answer about tomorrow is very deeply troubling. You don't "win", you just win for the moment. The verdict is out for anything more.

I'm glad I often tell the ones I love how I feel on a daily basis.

Life is a wonderful thing, and I'm not ready to go yet.

Just said a prayer for you. I've been following you to some degree for over a year. You are one of the few whose responses and opinions I look forward to reading (there are maybe half a dozen or so). Ask God for wisdom and assurance. I fully expect you to be back with a vengeance before long. Chin up.
