My Sunday trip to the ICU

Had some pain in the back of my knee a couple days ago. Leg swole up to 2x normal. Sudden shortness of breath around same time. Yesterday woke up coughing blood from lungs.

ER time!

ER looked me over for a while, and next thing you know I'm on a helicopter ride to the Springs.

Got more cables, tubed and wires connected to me than Frankenstein.

Large blood clot in leg. Clot broke up, and now have two large pulmonary embolisms, near heart on each side. Several heart issues going on too.

Covid response has been very interesting (in a positive way, tested negative)

Many more updates to share...if I survive to share them.

All for now from the ICU.

I will continue to pray for you FCD.

Keep us updated, maybe we can at least keep you entertained while in the ICU. It can be hectic, noisy, scary, and lonely, all at the same time.

With us, and with God, at least you will not be truly alone.

It's good to know you didn't waste time going to ER... I hope they're treating you well, even if the food will probably suck big time.

I just got over one of those about a month ago. Luckily for me it didn't break off into my lungs or heart. My Mom and aunt and cousin gets them too. It's a genetic thing that runs in my family.

I wish you well my friend. Enjoy the good drugs they are surly giving you.
