The mods there delete a lot of stuff. Some I can see why, but not about a possible piece of land falling into the ocean.

They are strict about creating hysteria because if you look at the live chats on other live feeds, they are a cesspool of morons.

Honestly, most of the chats are more toxic than Sulpher Dioxide from the volcano.

When the aFar.TV feed stopped, I moved to the La Palma feed and the comments were ridiculous. Half you couldn't read and half were half-witted. They moved so quick you couldn't read them. I was happy to get back to the mods of aFar.TV lol.

I have been looking at a live stream from the ocean side but I am not sure where I found it. For those who need it maybe you can try and find the link.

Should be a cool view when that lava flow reaches the shore

That's kind of what I'm waiting on. The lava flow isn't slowing down at all today, and seems to intensify as night falls in. Any accurate distance yet on how far the lava is from the ocean?

Almost like there is some kind of lunar effect?

Was thinking about the same thing last night.

Don't know if so, or how so, but would love it if our astro physicist would answer.

Last I got was 1,2km...

The lava flow is kinda of halted by Montaña de Todoque, an other dormant volcano, so it has to go around it first.

It's hard to say how long it will take.

ETA: I believe Montaña de Todoque is the hill on the right side of my screen capture.

From this live feed:

the hill on the right is where the lava flow is at the moment.

The left upper corner show the current position of the lava field.

Wow, that's close. It's quite hard to judge distance on these streams.

Thank you for illustrating the distance for us.

Good thinking. I'm sure the local Canarians are watching this closely too.

It was so bad.

According to all the so-called experts, there will not be any mega Tsunami. Some say small ones - others say none at all.

But what I didn't really hear anyone dispute that it may crack in half and fall into the ocean. No one really talked about how this may effect the plates and if it will either put or relieve pressure.

The Government said this thing could last for a month or two.

If the seismic/volcanic activity at LaPalma meant that a catastrophic tsunami was imminent for the East coast US, one wonders how (*cough cough* IF) the US government would spread the word to those potentially impacted.

To be honest, I have a better time believing the tsunami is more of a possibility due to the fact that people are getting shut down just for talking about it. The US authoritarians have made it abundantly clear over the past several months that us peasants will do what they say or we'll pay the price.

Of course it's in my suspicious mind that TPTB would play down an imminent disaster but regardless, my limited knowledge tells me that a lot more needs to occur before this disaster scenario plays out.

That's close. I wonder what will happen if the lava melts the rock around that one, if it would set it off.

The way I understand it, the ground has risen several cm because of the magma which means there is a lot more to come pouring out. The more that comes out, the bigger the empty cavern is left below which weakens the island at that fault line, obviously becoming more unstable and thus could cause the separation at that fault line.

Here's an illustration of how the flow is, top right of the screen. But I think we're watching the same feed so you've probably already seen it.

The main vent seems to have closed up and only the side vent pumping out lava..

Seismic seems to be on the up...

Expecting a boom?

We may see one hell of a boom, or two. I can't turn my live feed off. I don't even like stepping away from it for a minute.

Another M3.3 is just added to that graph....getting quite busy

That's 3 quakes in a row (2 at 11km depth and 1 at 9km depth)
