Still don't change the fact that a Woman's body is her own choice, if she does not want something inside her for 9 month, she should not have to have it there, especially if it got there via rape, incest or possibly both.

You are a dad, you get divorced and walk away from your responsibilities, people will nod and figure you are a deadbeat dad, but not give it much thought.

You are a mum who does the same, everyone clutches their pearls and wonders what sort of monster she must be.

Exactly this. It doesn't stop there once Mum found a solution to the financial problems: "You work fultime? Self-employed? Why? Doesn't the father pay you enough? Don't you love your child? Why don't you spend every minute with it?"

Because that money won't get me far if I am not allowed to work in the sense of "you are a bad mother then". Doesn't even pay rent without utilities. What about our future, what about when I am old, when I do not work and pay into rent insurance, I won't get any rent. It's not the burden of my child to be responsible for my financial needs when I can't work anymore, someday.

Doesn't my child deserve to see places too? That I never have to tell her "we can't afford these shoes for you"?

All the while the father has his complete freedom and can go sip beers and complain about how I ruined his life? Two precautions failed, I guess it's my fault though. My fault for not killing my unborn daughter even though he had no opinion about it? Neither had the balls to say "I don't want the child" or "I will care for the child?".

The only reason I allow my daughter to see him is because I know that she needs a father-figure in her life, even though I know she will never be able to count on him, as it looks currently.

Abortion is not contraception. If you're too stupid to use protection, suck it up buttercup. I do think there should be exceptions, maybe up to 3 months for rape/incest victims and anytime if the mother's life is at stake, but really 6 weeks is tight but workable in a normal situation. Rape/incest could likely add a mental stigma that produces hiding and procrastination.

Everyone is free to believe what they want. But, when abortions are illegal, women who want to abort unwanted pregnancy will return to knitting needles and back alley abortionists. That is just the way it is.

I agree, just like people who are driven by fear and a media narrative, who are not critically thinking and don't do the research kinda deserve what's coming. It will be sad and horrible the amount of death, but your body-your choice to take the jab, right?

If a women realizes she is pregnant at 2 weeks or 6 weeks, because she missed 1 to 2 periods, doesn't want a child and doesn't do anything about it, then she's lazy, irresponsible, negligent or stupid, pick you poison. There are tons of off-the-shelf pregnancy testing kits. There is no justification to not act within that 6 week time frame, a pregnancy test is a few bucks, the morning after pill I think is $25. An abortion costs taxpayers thousands! Stop making excuses for the lazy, irresponsible, negligent or stupid people.

Abortion IS NOT contraception.

Ya, I have made that mistake a few times I admit.
But, well, what does it matter if it is the pregnant women or child, or the friend that drives her to the hospital or clinic because she is in pain? Or the doctor who counsels her that she is having a miscarriage, there is no way to prevent it and he would be scheduling an abortion if he could but the hospital won't allow it and slips her the address and phone number of a doctor across state li and es along with a local phone number of someone who is willing to drive her if the need be?
And if the person drives her and ends up getting aued... well, your average person dont know squat about discovery, how it works, ect. Without legal representation she is screwed so I guess her family can learn extreme dieting 101 for a few months!

If he didn't want a kid then same applies as the mom not wanting one. Has no bearing on being a real man at all.

I am in a small class of fathers who have full custody of their kids and mom is the deadbeat. I am also adopted.

I have no idea why no word yet, my guess would be like anything else that is a super divider these days.....politics.

It is six weeks from her last period. She has around two weeks to realized that she is late because she is pregnant and get the problem taken care of.

And, the majority, vast majority of abortions aren't costing the taxpayers anything.

Can you tell me what happens when an embryo fails to implant?

Why is it murder because an electrical impulse/heart beat becomes strong enough that it can be audibly detected, but proof of conception, a positive pregnancy test before a pulse can be detected isn't?

Why are you so sure that after that specific sign of "a life" it's murder, but it's not at conception or implantation?
