How many Vaccinated People do you know that got Covid

Here's the weird thing.......I only know vaccinated people that have gotten it.
It really got me wondering the following.

-Are the vaccinated more susceptible?
-Are the vaccines weakinge people's own immune system?
-Are vaccinated people just careless with social distancing/masks/large groups and that's what's causes "breakthrough" cases?

-Are the unvaccinated just more careful wearing masks/social distancing
-Are the unvaccinated already protected by their own antibodies, ie. did just about everyone already have Covid and just not know it?
-Are the unvaccinated healtheir in general and less likely to catch any illness

Just some things I ponder.

I don’t think the evidence backs your assertion even slightly.

Seriously? You are unaware that employers are having their unvaxxed employees test routinely?

Even the federal government is doing this. 🤦‍♀️

The federal government — the nation’s largest employer — will require unvaccinated employees to wear masks while working, get regular testing and take other precautions, like maintaining physical distance from co-workers and restricting work travel. Several states, including California, Hawaii, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, also say unvaccinated state workers must get regular tests.

@Home both parents and I got the CCP Virus in April 2020, We were just fine, until they got The Vacc 2nd dose, then were hospitalized in ICU with the virus for 2 weeks. Almost died. I was exposed to the same virus at the same time, but am unvaccinated, and was unaffected.

@work out of 10 employees, 6 got vaccinated. 2 became severely ill and lost their job due to prolonged absence. I do not know what happened to them.

My best friend got the 2nd jab on Friday, and was sick all weekend. He went to the ER yesterday, and has been admitted with a sever CCP Virus delta infection.

I wish I could validate these stories. I’m due for my 2nd jab on the 9th sept. I was already a skeptic of the whole ordeal.

Here in the UK, the people like myself who are unvaccinated are also more likely to be the ones who dont wear masks, don’t sanitise constantly and don’t take tests.

The increasing number of infections in this country are therefore likely to be amongst the clot shotters...

That is what the jabs are meant to do. Not to prevent catching it? As some on here wrongly believe.

No-one's ever said the vaccines are 100% effective.
3 weeks after your second dose you'd be very lucky be to 95% protected.

As the months pass the efficacy of the vaccines reduce, that's why we're currently in a debate about 3rd doses and who should be prioritised for them. That plus new variants have emerged which are more contagious and which have more impact on your health.

Studies this week suggest efficacy with some of the vaccines can reduce to 65-70% after only 4-5 months since 2nd dosage.

That's not to say you'll be a hospital case if you're doubled dosed and catch Covid, far from it.

But it does mean there's many vaccinated people bouncing about just now thinking they're immortal who aren't.
And younger people who haven't been vaccinated. Plus older people who have chosen not to be, for whatever reason.

And that's the danger to your health services this Winter, whichever country you live in.

This Winter will be a sh*tstorm.

I read that the vaccine is causing people to not have such horrible symptoms - SO THEY ARE THE REASON THIS IS SPREADING AGAIN....because they dont feel sick but they are sick and out spreading their sickness. The vaccine does not keep people from getting sick. In fact, it probably is MAKING PEOPLE SICK but everyone does not feel it...so they go out in public and spread it.

If you are vaccinated. STAY HOME and mask up if you must leave! You are a danger to everyone else!

I love this latest plot twist. Stay home vaccinated you are infecting the unvaccinated.

Illinois is requiring certain employers to test those who are unvaccinated weekly.

My employer is one of them.

The information is out there, but I don't think you've looked at it.

Not enough info about her health. She could have one more more comorbidities that may hinder the effectiveness of the vaccine. And Delta has made a lot of previous assumptions about the virus moot (i.e. higher viral load for vaccinated).

Did not know that...

I mean he died a week and a half after getting covid, he had been vaccinated a few months beforehand.

Why don’t they keep working to make a real vaccine? Why has this conversation stopped? This vaccine doesn’t stop the spread.

I know of no one who has had "covid". I came across two people naturally of bad health, old, naturally could die yesterday and I wouldn't be surprised, claim to have some sickness they read about in the news. Not sure what fancy word their media outlet called it. Neither am I a physician... nor are they... so no, I cannot say they had anything besides propaganda and piss-poor health. I hugged them the last time I saw them. Have no problems. Of course, I didn't even trust hospitals before they were pulling in covid patient funding. Or corona benefits. I sleep off any sickness I get with a 24-48 hour period, however, I don't get sick. The last time I might have, I would work through it. Water, labor, a meal, a beer and sleep is better than anything a fancy Phd in clean white clothes and a fake smile can give you.

I have no friends. I have family. Half are vaxxed, half want no part in the buffoonery. I don't social distance. I don't even social. I don't like people.

I do find it interesting how easily they can be pursuaded in their dance with death. How news articles can make them change their lives as if... it wasn't even theirs to begin with. Like some parasitic-controlled bug. Very cool!!!

We're out of time.

It's impossible to administer so many vaccines to so many people in time for Winter. 3rd dose & a flu shot for what, 50 million people in the UK over the next 3 months ? Simply impossible. Why the next 3 months ? Because the last swallow of Summer has flown away. The weather's changing. We're heading indoors. Social distancing has relaxed. That plus official over confidence, dwindling 1st & 2nd dose vaccine efficacy, a 3 week lag on 3rd dose/flu shot efficacy, public complacency/indifference and a health service already on it's knees. All the ingredients are there for a huge increase in infection numbers over the next couple of months.

My gut feeling is some restrictions will be reintroduced, mid-late October. Hope I'm wrong.
